I know we have our little disagreements sometimes. I know right now we’ve hit some rough spots. But, I’m so glad I have someone like you. Looking at you makes me happy even when we aren’t talking. When I think of you, I can’t help but have a huge smile on my face and giggle like a little kid.
They say we’re too young to know the definition of love.. Sometimes I can’t help but believe them.. But, right now; you’re my definition. I don’t know what love is without you and I don’t think I want to. They say we can’t and won’t last through the distance. But, I know we can prove them wrong and I know we can keep doing that, together. The distance will only make us stronger. The distance will teach us to cherish every moment we have together. It will also teach us to be thankful for all the sweet memories.
Sometimes I sit in my room, just thinking of you, listening to our songs, fiddle with the gifts you’ve gotten me. I sit there and remember the way you smell, your perfect blue eyes, the calm that rushes over me when I here your voice, the way your fingers fit perfectly with mine, the way you hold me when you kiss and hug me. I sit there alone, reminiscing and thinking about you.. and the good things are the only things I seem to remember.
And you know what? There’s nothing like us.
