Olive paddles and paddles, day and night. She can't stop because zombies are great swimmers and they keep chasing her. She turns and sees a zombie hot on her trail that looks distinctly like Romeo. Oh no she thinks. She paddles faster. Her only chance is to get to California where there will hopefully be more survivors.
She paddles for days, catching fish in her mouth and eating them whole for nutrients. She never sleeps and the blood of the fish makes up for the lack of water.
After months of paddling and paddling. She finally makes it to California.
