Pidgin vs Pigeon

This one's not very common since neither of these words are used all that much in most writing, but I just like this one.

If you're looking for a bird often found in city parks and squares, you'd find a pigeon.

On the other hand, a pidgin (pronounced the same way) is the emergency language that emerges when two groups who speak separate languages start to interact. Pidgins often evolve into Creoles in a generation or two as the children of these groups interact and add complexity to their speech to better communicate.
