Victoria's POV
I woke up the next morning with a mild headache but the nurse came in and gave me some medicine for it and it went away. I spent the rest of the day watching reruns of the new girl on my laptop that my parents dropped off earlier. At around five that day someone knocked on the door.
"Come in."
Jesse came in the room with a guilty look on his face.
' hi victoria. how are you feeling?"
"Could be better but I'm fine what's wrong you look like you killed someone" adding a small chuckle thinking it would lighten up the mood cause i really feel weird. Instead he just put his head down and stared at the floor muttering something under his breathe that i did quite catch.
"What?"
" I said that i almost did. Look I'm so sorry about throwing you into the water! I didn't know you couldn't swim! I'm so sorry you could've died down there because of my stupidity. I'm a terrible person."
i Looked at him and burst out laughing! Then he gave a look that says ' what are you crazy?!'
after i calmed down i started to explain
" It's not your fault calm your nipples! Like you said you didn't know and your not a terrible person. A terrible person wouldn't have gone back down to rescue me you're like a hero. Not really you caused it but that's not the point, I'm not mad I'm grateful actually so stop beating yourself up about it.
" thanks Victoria but u forgot to say that i wasn't stupid either" he said smirking
" why correct something that's true?" i replied with my own smirk.
