Chapter 9

Victoria’s POV

The rest of day passed by I really didn’t pay attention to much all I knew was that Jesse had every single class with me. It was getting aggravating to see him everywhere and watch every girl in the whole school bow down to him, especially the teachers. I mean I get that he’s the son of The guy who started Anderson CO and his parents are extremely rich and famous in the economical world but jeez is he that powerful that the teachers bow down to him? I would take that as yes.

I was headed to my car ready to go home and finish my homework when I noticed Ariana on the side my car crying her eyes out. I ran over to her.

“What happened!?!?!?!”

“Luuu--- (sobs) ----keeee”

“What about him did he do something to you I swear is he harmed you in any way I will kill that son of -“

“No I don’t want you near him. I’m going to confront him myself.”

“What did he do?” I asked curiously

“He” she stopped right when she was bout o explain and stared at something behind me. I turnedaround and saw him.

“Speak of the Devil and he shall come. What did you do to her?”

“Ariana let me explain please!”  I looked at Luke and for the first time I saw pure sincerity in his eyes he looked heart broken when he notice Arianna face full of tears. I walked away giving them some privacy.

“Where are you going, don’t leave me with that thing!” screamed Ariana with such a disgusted look on her face. I would have gone back but I knew she didn’t mean it and I saw Luke begging me to not listen he clearly wanted to talk to her so I left and said,

“Think of it as pay back for leaving me with Jessie.”

With that I walked back to school and roamed the halls for 15 minutes. I walked to my locker and cleaned some it out. Then I went to the 4th floor so I could get some water from the only vending machine that actually works. When I had it to the top I was panting from the lack of air. I got my water and chugged it down. Then I heard a soft chuckle, I turned around and saw Jessie there.

“What?” I asked dumbfounded i really don’t understand what sso funny.

“You’re really thirsty aren’t cha.”

“Oh well yeah I walked up all those stairs.”

“It was only 8 flights. How could you be tired I ran up them and didn’t even break a sweat? ”

”Well not all of us are athletically inclined and area able to run up stairs like you”

”I guess you’re right there.” He said staring at me.

 After that it kind of got awkward so I started to walk back outside to see if Ariana and Luke were oknow.

“Well I got to go. Bye Jesse”

I made my way back to my car and to my surprise found Luke and Ariana making out on the hood of it.

So to have some fun I pressed the alarm button and watched them jump and Luke fell with Ariana next to him. They laughed a little and continued to kiss. So I got in my car without them noticing and roared the engine to life and they looked up but didn’t move. I chuckled at that and moved the car forward a little enough go over their feet. That’s when Ariana looked up and shot me daggers. I just smirked and moved it again. Now they were cover up to their thighs.  My car is a Jeep so the distance between the floor and the bottom of the car is fairly big. Big enough to go over them without harming them so I figured what the hell and drove right over them.

After I pass them they were standing and both of them shooting me daggers. I looked at them with and innocent smile. I opened the door and walked over to them. I could tell they were saying something but I didn’t hear anything. When I got in front of them I said “you guys wouldn’t move and I didn’t hurt any of you so were good. I started walking back to my car when I felt to arm wrap around my waist and throw me over their shoulder. I squirmed and tried to get out of their grip but it was useless.

“You think we were going to let you that easily” teased the guy holding me who I now recognized as Luke. I looked over and saw Ariana smirking at me.

“What are you guys going to do?” I ask alarmed when I noticed him walking in the direction of the little lake near our school. Yeah there’s a lake right next to our school. In walking distance so I guess that’s where they were taking me.

When we got there Luke walked over to the dock and was about to drop when I yelled, “NO!! DON’T LUKE PUT ME DOWN NO!”

“Ok I’ll put u down in the water!” and with that he dropped me in the freezing water.

I held my breath and felt the water surround me I started swimming to the surface but my leg was caught in the weeds at the bottom of the lake. Everything started blacking out when I felt to arms wrap around me again and bring me back up I looked up at my rescuer and saw Jesse hovering over me looking at me clearly worried. That’s when I blacked out and the last thing I heard was Jesse repeating my name and faint sirens from an ambulance
