"Do you guys want to hang out? School's done already." Sapnap asked.
"Yep. How about you Clay?" Punz responded.
"I can't. I have to pick up my little brother and make food for us." I replied.
"Don't you have parents to cook food for you?" Wilbur sneered.
(What is the word 'sneered' by the way? I just saw someone else use it in their story so I just used it too.)
"I have a working father. But he's too busy. He has so many jobs just to keep us safe and alive." I answered.
"How about your mother?" Punz asked.
"I don't have a mother..." I replied. I really hated that day. I wished it never even happened.
"Oh. Condolences, I guess." Sapnap replied.
"No- I mean. She's not dead. She just left us.." I corrected.
"Oh okay. See you tomorrow I guess?" Sapnap requested.
"Sure. Bye!" I walked away from them.
Approaching my little brother's classroom.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Oh. Hello, Mr?" The teacher greeted.
"I'm Clay. Clay WasTaken. I'm here to pick up Tommy."
"Sure. Tommy is a very bright kid. Though he's kind of trouble maker at times." The teacher commented.
The teacher got back with Tommy beside her.
"Hey Clay." Tommy greeted.
"Hey Tommy. Do you want McDonald's today or just home cook for dinner?" I asked.
"Maybe home cook..." Tommy replied.
Tommy usually picks McDonald's because he hates how I cook stuff. Something is definitely wrong.
"Tommy. What's wrong? You can tell me." I stated.
"I just had a bad day okay..." Tommy replied
"Okay. But we're going to McDonald's that'll help you forget about this 'bad' day if yours."
"Okay!"
