Y/N's pov
My heartbeat quickened inside my chest. Why didn't I suspect it before. Zuo's weird behavior and inhuman like pale skin, how I slightly saw his sharp fangs every time he spoke. But I was too careless shaking it off again and again. It's probably not a good idea to stick around them. I need to get back home. "Now that you know, we need to erase your memory." Yuchen said mindlessly. "Absolutely not!" Zuo argued. "Zuo, we need to do it, in order for our own safety" Zeyu reminded, "We can't trust this girl." "No, a no is a no. I won't let you erase her memory." Zuo was stubborn. "Come on, don't tell me you've fallen for this human?" Yuchen snickered. I blushed slightly. Zuo remained quiet, blankly staring at Yuchen.
"We can't risk anything Zuo hang. We have to erase her memories, whether you want it or not" zhixin starts to get up from where he was sitting. Alerted, zuo immediately wrapped his arms around me in a protective manner, "Fuck you, I said no" "That's it! Zuo hang, you hand her to me right now." Zhixin couldn't tolerate zuo's behavior any longer, "what's the matter with you? We've done this to every human that finds out who we truly are but why do you care so much about this one?"
Zuo grabbed my hand and walked past them dragging me together with him. We walked around the hallways as I stumbled to keep up behind him as he was walking at a very fast pace. He stopped when we got in front of a room. He opened the door and made me go inside. "Stay here for a while, I'll be back." He smiled at me before he closed the door.
Zuo hang's pov
When I went back down, I could see that zhixin was furious. "Where's she at? Are you planning to make a filthy human stay at our place?" Zhixin spat the moment he saw me, "Don't you recall what happened to Deng Jiaxin before? He was exactly like you. But he's GONE because of one stupid human! You're making the same mistake as him." "I know you're worried about me and all but I'm old enough, I can take care of myself and make my own decisions just fine! Just like that I am worried about her okay?!" I snapped. Zhixin seemed stunned at first but his expression turned blank again, he looked hurt. "You know what, fine. I'll let you keep that human in our household but I swear if any one of us gets hurt, You are dead Zuo hang."
