[The scar's glow immediately dies down, and the camera pans to see Percy, who is now ten years old, still sleeping. Then, the light turns on outside his bedroom cupboard under the stairs]

"Why are you in a cupboard?" Will asks, already worried about how healthy Percy is going to be.
"That's where they had me sleep; they didn't tell me much when I stayed with them," Percy says with a shrug.
All the kids from Hogwarts are shocked that their great savior is staying in a cupboard.

Petunia: Up. Get up. [She knocks on his closet door repeatedly] Now! [Smack's a closet door and walks into the living room]

"Well, she seems more pleasant than Mr. D," Annabeth says, leaving most of them to nod their heads quickly.

[Percy wakes up, turns on her bedroom light, and puts on her glasses with tape on the bridge, indicating that it was partly damaged. A large, tubby boy, Dudley Dursley, suddenly comes running down the stairs above the closet. He stops halfway down and goes back, jumping on the staircase.]

"You have glasses?" Leo asks, not used to seeing that.
"Whenever I'm here my vision is bad for some reason, so I need glasses while here," Percy says back.

Dudley: Wake up, cousin! We're going to the zoo!
[Hazel looks up to the joining works of the stairs with small amounts of dust rising. Dudley laughs, comes down the stairs, and runs for the kitchen. Hazel tries to come out of the closet but is pushed back in by Dudley. Petunia is in the kitchen, where Dudley has gone.]

"He's lucky Riptide doesn't work on him. I have been close to attempting to use it," Percy says.

Petunia: Oh, here he comes, the birthday boy!
Vernon: Happy birthday, son.
[Petunia and Dudley giggle together. Hazel comes into the kitchen, dressed in outgrown clothes.]

"Ha, you look smaller than normal," Hazel laughs out, gaining Percy to slap her arm.
"Shut up, Miss Metal Detector," Percy says back.

Petunia: [to Percy, unpleasantly] Why don't you just cook the breakfast and try not to burn anything.
Percy: Yes, Aunt Petunia.
[Percy then gets to work on cooking the bacon]
Petunia: I want everything to be perfect for my Dudley's special day.
Vernon: [to Percy, who is taking her time placing the bacon on the plates] Hurry up! Bring my coffee, girl!
Percy: Yes, Uncle Vernon.

"They are treating her like a house elf!" Ginny shouts out.
"What's a house elf?" Zeus asks.
"A slave," Percy growls out, which pisses off the gods as they think that's completely wrong.

[Petunia leads Dudley over to the family room, where there are a vast amount of presents. Dudley stares.]
Petunia: Aren't they wonderful, darling?
Dudley: How many are there?
Vernon: Thirty-six. Counted 'em myself.
Dudley: Thirty-six?! But last year last year I had thirty-seven!!

"Spoiled brat," McGonagall says.

Vernon: Err, yes, well, some of them are quite a bit bigger than last year.
Dudley: I don't care how big they are!
Petunia: [calming him down] Oh, now, now, now. This is what we're going to do, is that when we go out, we're going to buy you two new presents! How's that, pumpkin?

"That isn't how you should parent!" Hades says, trying to seem like a nice person.
"Like you would know," Nico says with an eye roll.

[Outside the house in the morning. The happy family is heading to the car.]
Petunia: This will be a lovely day at the zoo. I'm really looking forward to it.
[Percy then goes to get in the car, but Vernon stops her, pointing his keys at her.]
Vernon: I'm warning you now, girl. Any funny business, any at all, and you won't have any meals for a week. Get in.

"That is abuse!" Jason shouts mad over how his friend is getting treated.

[At the London Zoo. The family is looking at a large Boa constructor in the reptile house.]
Dudley: Make it move.
[Vernon taps the glass of the cage.]
Vernon: Move!
[Dudley taps the glass much harder, and Vernon nervously winces.]
Dudley: MOVE!
Percy: He's asleep!
Dudley: He's boring.

"I think if we are watching this correctly, you're the boring on Dudley," Thalia comments.

[Dudley and his parents head over to another enclosure. Percy is left with the snake.]
Percy: Sorry about him. He doesn't understand what it's like, lying there day after day, having people press their ugly faces in on you. [The snake looks up and blinks.]

"YOU CAN TALK TO SNAKES NOW?! WERE HORSES NOT ENOUGH???" Leo shouts out, making everyone look at him.
"Wait, you can talk to horses?" Ron asks, shocked.
"Surprise," Percy says awkwardly.
Poseidon is looking proud as ever, and people seem shocked about it.

Percy: Can you...hear me? [The snake nods] It's just...I've never talked to a snake before. Do you...I mean...do you talk to people often? [The snake shakes its head] You're from Burma, aren't you? Was it nice there, do you miss your family? [The snake turns its head toward a sign which says, Bred in Captivity] I see. That's me as well. I never knew my parents, either.

You hear a sniffle, and everyone turns and sees Leo basically crying.
"What? It's sad hearing Percy talk about that!" Leo exclaims.
"Pull it together, repair boy," Percy says with a smirk.

[The now awake snake has attracted Dudley's attention. He comes over to the glass, knocking Percy to the floor.]
Dudley: Mommy, dad, come here! You won't believe what this snake is doing!
[Dudley puts his hands on the glass wall. With his back turned, Hazel glares at him. Suddenly, the glass disappears, causing Dudley to wretch forward, losing his balance.]

This causes everyone to start laughing, thinking that he completely deserved it. Percy was getting some high-fives from her friends as they laughed.

Dudley: Whoa! Ahh! Ahh!!
[Dudley falls into the snake enclosure, sputtering in a pool of water. Percy snickers at what she sees. The snake leaves the exhibit, stopping in front of Percy.]
Snake: Thanks.
Percy: Anytime.

"Why does Hazel get all the cool stuff," Ron complains, and her camp friends nod along, thinking the same thing.

[The snake slivers off to the exit.]
Man: SNAKE!
[There is a lot of screaming as the snake heads for freedom. Dudley gets up to get out, but the glass is now back over the enclosure. Seeing that he is now trapped, he pounds the glass in panic.]
Dudley: Mom, mommy!
Petunia: [notices him in the exhibit] AHH!
Dudley: Mom, help! Help me!
Petunia: My darling boy! How did you get in there?! How did you get in there? Dudley, oh, Dudley!

"Is he secretly a baby?" Theo asks suddenly.

[Percy grins and snickers; Vernon notices this and glares down at her. Percy's grin disappears, knowing she is in trouble with Vernon.]

"He better not land a hand on her," Zeus says angrily.
