Bryce walked me into the Senior Class building we had to go to office and collect our timetables. There was a huge crowd but lucky enough Bryce was popular enough to allow us through quickly.

"Ready" I ask Bryce who was eager to see his time table.
"Yes" he replies. On the count of 3 we saw it. We had classes in every single subject expect Literature and Maths which were the 2 most important subjects. We had them 2 periods every single day. Which also means we don't see each other 4 periods every day.
"It's just 4 Periods out of 7" Bryce tried to reassure me. I gave him a "sarcastic really" look and shrugged it off. The first bell rang for Geography. In some classes we were allowed to sit anywhere so on the way to Geography I decided to text the group hoping chris won't answer too.

Lovey emojis? Chris? They are probably messing with me. Getting on my nerves as usual. I look to my left realising Bryce has been watching on my phone this whole time. I look down to see his fist curl up as a ball like he's ready to throw a punch. I want to ask him if he's okay if he has seen my messages but I don't. We get to georgraphy and I see our teacher that was also our 9th grade one. I plaster a smile to him before he sitting down in an available seat next to my friend group and Bryce waves at me and heads over to his group of friends with Chris. The lacrosse team.

"Hey guys" I say to the group. Skaii gives me a look and says "I'm a woman bitch". I roll my eyes laughing softly to Skaii's words.

Chris POV

My friend group is talking about something which I'm not even paying attention to. Mostly on y/n and our friend group. I'm so mad Matt told everyone especially HER that I have those emojis for her. It wasn't on purpose. I mean it was it's not like I have feelings for her. I just always had those emojis for her it felt normal and I didn't think Matt will hover over my screen when texting in the same group chat as me. I hear her soft laugh. OH MY DAYSSSSSS.
Bro. Chris calm down you hate her right? Now fix yourself up.

"Okay settle down Seniors" Mr McGrath shouts. "Now just before the Christmas break I asked everyone to revise just a little nothing too much for a little pop quiz. Let's see where you are at right now. Capish?" He asks all of us.
We all grown yes and start the pop quiz. Shit. I remember y/n mentioning to revise but I didn't listen I had something going on with Mackenzie. Oh yeah I promised Mackenzie that I'll introduce to her to my brothers and the rest. I CANT EVEN FOCUS. I need y/n. Where is she? I look to my left and right. Then slowly I look behind me. Yes y/n.
"Psst y/n" I whisper
"Chris do your work leave me alone. I don't want to be dragged into your mischief" She responds.
"Um what's the first question" I ask. She just stares at me. Shit I feel so dumb. I feel eyes just staring at me. I look back to see who it is. It's Mackenzie and she looks mad.

After the pop quiz I was sure I have failed since I didn't write a single thing. The bell had gone and it was time for 2nd and 3rd period.
"Thank you guys you can go now. Wait Christopher Sturniolo and y/n Becks please stay behind" he informs. I hear y/n gulp next to me and she's fiddling with her bracelets. I've noticed something about her whenever things like this happens she's fiddling with something. HA! TAKE THAT MATT! I CAN OBSERVE THINGS!

"Now a student has informed me there was cheating going on between you too" He says.
"What" I blurt out
"Sir that's not true. Whoever said that is lying. Mr McGrath we both know I always want to thrive and excel in this class especially with a highly sophisticated teacher like you" y/n adds. I have no idea what those words mean it's like when she talks to teachers her vocabulary and everything she is saying changes. "There is no way I would waste my intelligence to a student like Chris" she finished. I put my hand to my heart acting like I got hurt.
"Y/n your courtesy please!" Mr McGrath replies to her brutal response. She nodded and waited for what he was going to say next.
"Now I love you both you are my two favourite students. I taught you two in 9th Grade but if a student has reported or suspected cheating there has to be further more investigation. I'm sorry y/n and Chris it's the rules of the school" he mumbled with a sad look. Y/n looks mad. What's up with everyone looking mad today.
