Dracancer: A deadly sickness which spreads quickly. It can make dragons of all tribes lose their scales and make them weak. If they end up dying from this disease, it will be a slow, painful death. Their organs will slowly fail. Making it hard to live.
Dracancer in Skywings will make their wings extremely sore and tense, making them unable to fly. Their fire will be weak and sometimes they won't be able to breathe fire at all. Their appetite will also change.
Dracancer in Mudwings will make them uncomfortable 24/7. Mud will become unpleasant to them and their diet will change drastically.
Dracancer in Icewings will make them cold. They will have their claws and horns slowly fall off, making it almost impossible for them to walk along the ice. They get frostbite in much harsher ways than other dragons.
Dracancer in Rainwings will make them skip suntime, they will lose sleep even though they are exhausted. Their scales will grow dim and their neck and tain become very tense.
Seawings; They will lose their sight. Their scales will become slimy and their glow up scales won't glow.
Sandwings; Their scales will become dusty and itchy, their venom will spread through their body from their tail.
Nightwings; the heat will be unbearable to them, their scales will change color to be lighter, the stars under their wings will slowly fade.
The Cure: a sickly looking plant that scientists think might be able to cure Dracancer. It is a plant found in all territories. Although they all look different. The Sky Cure looks to have orange veins running in the leaves. However the veins are very faded and ill. The Sand Cure resembles a cactus but the spikes are small and wilted. The Ice Cure is a grey white plant that has a blue flower. However the flower is wilted and dead looking. The Sea Cure is a coral that looks dead. The Rain Cure is a brown color, the rainbow colors that it supposedly had all faded. The Night Cure is a charcoal flower that is black as the scales on a Nightwing. However it has very small petals, and red veins in the stem. Making it look like lava. The Mud Cure is a flower which is covered in hardened mud, making it almost impossible to get it out.
Discription on the history: Dracancer was first noticed 5 years ago by some Skywings. Those who noticed it took their friend who had Dracancer into the medics but they found they couldn't cure it. After a while the friends also got Dracancer, it ended up spreading across the continent quickly, making a large population of all dragon tribes falling ill. Most of those who got this deadly disease died. The Queens of the tribes came together and all decided to hold off all wars until the sickness goes down. It never did. So all the Queens have hired scientists to try and find a cure for Dracancer. Dragons of all tribes came together and all worked to try and find a way to rid this disease. After research, dragons have found "The Cure." A plant which was thought to have no healing properties. The plant is a ill green and sometimes white. It is very fragile and the smallest touch can kill it. After 5 years the dragons are still looking to find the antidote for Dracancer... until two unlikely roommates are forced to experiment together..... A smart rainwing who knows what she's doing and a tempered Hivewing who is solitary and closed off.
Characters:
Juniper : A smart, skilled, and clever she who has good judgment in actions and plan making. Due to a past accident, she is unable to fly. She is good with plants and is prepared.
HookWorm: A serious dragon who is all work no play. She has a heart of steel and is hardly afraid of anything, even dying (besides rabbits). She has her soft spots but is almost always exclusively stern and snappy. Work, her glasses, neatness. She dislikes other dragons. She's hella lesbian and uses she/her.s
