Hour of the Raven

A shiver spirals down Elizabeth's spine, as she stares into the pouring rain. All that fills her mind is the disappearances of wizards and witches.

Gone.

No where to be found and the rising of house fires. What could be the cause of this? She wondered night and day, until it consumed her thoughts. Theirs a darkness filling the sky, taking different lives.Suddenly her thoughts were interrupted with a knock.
She turns and sees her best friend Ella Lovegood. Whose skin is fair as snow and hair to match with ice blue eyes.

Ella walks to Elizabeth who sitting by the window in her Ravenclaw uniform with her brown chestnut hair that falls to the middle of her back.
"are you going to attend dinner with me today" she said sitting next to her doe eyed friend.
"i'm not that hungry" Elizabeth said looking back out the window.

"Liz, it's been over a month since Alex disappeared, you can't put all this onto yourself" Ella said warm fully but with a bit of a worried tone.
Elizabeth looks down at her lap , and for awhile they sit in silence hearing the patter of the rain hit the window. Ella then moves her hand to her best friends knee.

"come to dinner" she insisted.

"ok" Elizabeth said getting up and dusting off her outfit and brushing her hair to look presentable for dinner.

The two girls make their way to the great hall to sit at the Ravenclaw table.
A loud thunder strucks the hall filling every ounce of the room with noise.
"what a storm" xeno says coming to sit down by his twin sister Ella.

"Students of Hogwarts , It is the year 1977 and this is the year Hogwarts will be remembered for holding the Tri-Wizarding tournament.
Hurrays fill the halls with whispers about how Hogwarts will be the victorious.

"Quiet " Head Master said with only a second after the room was filled with a deafening silence.

"We will have two schools joining us , Dumstrang and Beauxbatons" Dumbledore goes on to say.
He then goes on to talk about how this "competition is not for the weak" and says the Goblet of Fire will pick the victors. Elizabeth whispers to Ella and Xeno, "is it smart to have this tournament in trouble times like this" she said a bit confused.
"if Dumbledore says we are having this tournament, it must mean we are safe , let's trust him" Xeno Insisted.

"Alex wasn't safe" Elizabeth mumbled.

"Now announcing The Beauxbatons" soon the room is filled with fitted girls with fair skin and white sparkly teeth and blue silk uniforms and a pointed hat prancing and dancing around the room. One of the girls sighed by Xeno and you could tell he was captivated by her beautiful elegance.

Dumbledore greets the girls and then announces Dumstrang and soon a bunch of meatheads are doing combat skills into the great hall and one even bowed to Ella who gave Sirius a glance in hopes he wouldn't be jealous. But he just glanced a smile back , knowing he didn't have to worry about anything.

After dinner all everyone talked about was the tournament and the excitement these other schools brought.

"It's going to be an interesting year" Ella says
as they got ready for bed.

" mhmm" Liz said.
"are you gonna enter the tournament El? " She said as she got into her silk midnight blue bed.

"it's not something i'm particularly interested in, you?" she said as she sat on her bed brushing through her snow like hair.

"No, i want to stay far away from that" she said then soon fading into a deep sleep.

Elizabeth fills cold air surround her body, she wakes up to a dark forest. She feels the soil under her body and under theirs something else? What is it? She moves to find bones.
