Carrie left the bathroom, looking to the stairs. "Mama? Mama?" Carrie called, when Margaret came up from behind her own child. Carrie turned around to see her mom. "Mama?" She fell into her arms when Margaret ran her fingers through Carrie’s hair. "Mama, it was bad, Mama. They laughed at me. Mama, hold me. Mama, please, hold me." Margaret fell to her knees. "Hold me, Mama. Please, hold me!" Carrie couldn’t let it in her to say goodbye to Margaret.

Margaret let go of Carrie’s hands and spoke somberly. "I should have kill myself when he put it in me. After the first time, before we were married. Ralph promised never again. He promised, and I believed him. But sin never dies. Sin never dies. At first it was all right. We lived sinlessly. We slept in the same bed, but we never did it. And then, that night, I saw him looking down at me that way. We got down on our knees to pray for strength. I smelled the whisky on his breath. And he took me... He took me. With the stink of the filthy roadhouse whisky on his breath. And I liked it. I liked it!" Margaret chuckled. "Well, all that dirty touching in his hands and coming all over me... I should have given you to God when you were born. But I was weak and backsliding." Margaret cried for a bit. "But now the devil has come home. Oh! We’ll pray."

"Yes." Carrie nodded to her mom. "We’ll pray." Carrie went down in her knees and let Margaret hold her.

"We’ll pray. We’ll pray. For the last time, we’ll pray." Margaret pet through Carrie’s hair.

Downstairs, Everly was eagerly waiting for Carrie and was getting worried as she paced back and forth. Something was wrong upstairs but Everly didn’t know what.

Upstairs, Margaret petted through Carrie’s hair as they both started to pray, Carrie had her eyes closed. Carrie didn’t notice that Margaret had a kitchen knife beside her as she grabbed it. "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name."
Everly stood by the stairs and looked up waiting for her friend.

"Thy kingdom come, thy will be done..." But Carrie was stabbed in the back making Margaret groan and Carrie’s eyes widened.

"Carrie." Everly called out at the same time right as Margaret stabbed her daughter in the back.

Carrie went tumbling down the stairs which shocked Everly making her fal to her knees. "Carrie, are you okay?" She then notice blood coming from her back and her mouth. "What happened?" All she had to do was look up to see Margaret coming down with a knife. "Carrie get up,  we have to leave."

Carrie crawled backwards whimpering as Margaret looked menacingly at Carrie as Evelyn went to a door trying to open it, she groaned. "It’s closed. Come on." Everly shook the door knob but nothing worked.

Margaret raised her hand up that held the knife at Carrie but Everly shrieked. "Leave her alone!" Carrie with her mind control, she threw another kitchen knife and it landed on the handyman had the kitchen knife which made Margaret shriek, a butter knife hit her in the chest, another kitchen knife hit her left hand, and four more knives hit her abdomen and stomach which Margaret moaned as she continued to moan but it was sensually, Everly made Carrie look away as she did too.
The sensual moans stopped as Carrie and Everly looked up to see Margaret not moving at all. Carrie moved close to her mother and screamed as she threw the knife out of her right hand and held her close.

Both girls heard a creaking sound as they were stunned by the sound. "Carrie, what are you doing?" Carrie looked at Everly with sad eyes.

"I’m sorry, Evie." Everly knew exactly what she meant.

Her eyes widened. "No, no, no! Carrie, please you’re free! Let’s leave now." Everly pleaded loudly.

"I can’t leave." Carrie says almost crying.

"Yes you can. Carrie, you can leave your all of your negative past behind you, please you can live with me and my mom for a long time but please don’t stay here." Everly said getting teary eyed. "You can be free, nobody can bother you again, I can protect you from everyone."

"Please leave me alone." Carrie cried out.

"I’m your best friend, I’ve been your friend since grade 2. I have been there for you through the pain and suffering that your mother has put you through and I defended you against Chris and Sue well mostly Chris. Not listen, you’re my best friend. Okay? And I need you. Carrie, you're my sister, all right? So... So, if you're gonna kill yourself in this home." Everly took her hand. "You’re just gonna have to take me with you."

Carrie at this point was crying quietly until she screamed and jumped into Everly’s arms and the house stopped shaking. "Let’s get out of here." Carrie said and the girls left the house but Carrie made the house disappear under ground.

"Evie, EVIE!" A voice called for the brunette and it was Riley once they saw each other they ran in for a hug. "God, you’re okay." Riley whispered in her ear.

Riley looked up to see Carrie standing there all awkwardly. "Thank you, Carrie." Riley smiled at the girl and Carrie did slowly smiled at him.

"Let’s take you both home." Riley said as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder as Everly extend her hand to Carrie who took it.

Riley took Everly and Carrir back to Everly’s home and Isabelle stood outside as she saw Riley and Everly come up to the house but saw her daughter's best friend. "Oh,  Carrie, dear." Isabelle took her in her arms and held her for a while. "Welcome to your new home." Isabelle took her inside.

"She’s gone." Everly said but it confused Riley.

"Who’s gone?" Riley asked completely confused.

"Carrie, she’s gone." Riley was still confused. "Since the police don’t know who did it, we’ll have to change her name, so nobody will have to search for her."

"Okay, but wait, you’re going to give her a new name." Riley finally what Evelyn was saying.

"Yeah, Carrie White is dead but long live Caroline Ashwell." Everly said.

"But in my family, we’ll only call her by her actual name. Cause now everybody is going to know her name." Everly said as Riley smiled at her and took her hand.

"To a new chapter coming soon." Riley said.

Everly smiled. "For sure."

A tragic ending for a night that was suppose to be a good night for the rest of the seniors. But a good ending for the last remaining seniors of the night.
