Hot Chocolate | Chanlix

- No ones POV -

After a long and hard day of work, each of the members went to bed and sooner or later drifted off to their belonged sleep. Only Felix was having trouble with that. After hours of turning back and forth in his bed, he sat up and glanced at the clock.

3 Am.

Felix groaned. He'd have to get up in three hours and he didn't get a single minute of sleep. Rubbing his eyes he looked around the room and spotted both of his roommates, Jeongin and Minho, peacefully sleeping.

Thinking he wouldn't get sleep any time soon, Felix quietly got out of his warm and comfy bed and tiptoed to the kitchen, trying not to wake up his beloved members who seemed to be deeply asleep. 

Walking down the hallway, Felix soon reached the kitchen. He didn't know what he was expecting to find in the kitchen, but it was certainly not their leader. He sat there peacefully scrolling through his phone when he noticed the younger and looked up, clearly confused he asked "Why are you still awake?" while putting his phone to the side and giving the boy all of his attention.

Felix shrugged and sat down in front of him, resting his head on his hands. "Hungry?" Chan asked while pushing back his hair. The younger shook his head and sank in his chair while the leader looked puzzled, trying to come up with something to help his Dongsaeng sleep. Chan suddenly stood up and reached his hand out to the blonde "Let's go to the living room" The elder said as Felix happily laid his hand in the others. 

Chan gently pulled the boy with him onto the couch where Felix immediately practically threw himself onto the elder's chest, resting his head against the warm fabric of the leader's hoodie, attempting to find the comfort he'd been longing all night. He pulled the desperate boy onto his lap and started rocking him back and forth while humming a soft melody. Felix rested his head in the crook of the elder's neck but after many minutes of falling asleep, he still didn't feel tired. 

The elder softly ran his fingers through the youngers soft blonde hair as he stood up, balancing him on his hip and carrying him back into the kitchen, and placed him on a counter. Chan always made the members hot chocolate when they felt bad or couldn't sleep, and afterwards, he'd sit with them on the couch or lay with them in his bed until they were asleep. So just like many nights, Chan stood in the kitchen and made hot chocolate as the younger watched him closely. The blonde happily reached for the cup and took a sip from the sweet and hot liquid. 

Felix quietly drank the whole cup while the leader stood next to him doing whatever on his phone. The younger showed Chan his now empty cup while yawning, the elder smiled and placed the cup in the sink.

Chan brought the boy into his room and lay down with him. Felix placed his head on Chan's chest and the elder began to draw soft circles on his back while humming a soothing tune. Felix promptly fell asleep, his eyelids becoming heavy as he drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
