Chapter 18

It was finally the day; we will be finding out the gender of the baby. It has been 2 weeks since our last appointment and the baby is the only thing the friend group would talk about beside the wedding this spring obviously. They always say they can't wait to spoil our baby. We've also made bets on the gender of the baby. 

Draco: Boy 

Enzo: Girl 

Pansy: Boy 

Miranda: Girl 

Theo: Girl 

Mattheo: Boy 

Me: Boy 

Narcisa: Girl

Mattheo and I were currently at the doctor's office waiting for my name to be called, yet again. 

"As soon as I come back from Hogwarts before the birth, we need to find a house or something to live in. I don't want to be living with Draco forever." Mattheo let out a low laugh. 

"Agreed." 

"I think while I'm gone you should start looking at houses." 

"I think you going back is a bad idea Y/N." He looked at me talking lowly. 

"Mattheo we've talked about this. I will be going back to finish my last year as much as I can before having our baby. And we already talked to Dumbledore about all this, he said I can just get sent my owls and boom I'm done." I explained to him for what felt about the hundred time. 

"I know, I know. But what if something happens and I'm not there" I looked at him as his eyes were covered in fear. 

"It's going to be okay, lover" I grabbed his hand before giving him a small smile. 

"Y/n" We both look at the lady who said my name before getting up and following her to a small room. 

"Hi guys, it's nice to see you two again" The same doctor from last time said while walking in and immediately setting things up for my ultrasound.

 She put the cold gel on my stomach before placing the scanner thing on it. Mattheo and I both stayed quiet as we watched the screen seeing or little baby on it.

"Well, it seems like your baby is perfectly health still, which is great news." She started to clean my stomach off from the gel. 

"Would you two like to know the gender now or want me to write it down and put it in an envelope?" She asked with a huge smile. 

"Envelope please" I said before sitting up, putting my shirt back down. 

She went and got everything for us before coming back, giving me an envelope and my ultrasound photos. 

As we got back to the Manor, we walked into many people yelling and laughing. Mattheo and I gave each other a weird look before walking into the living room. As we walked in, we saw almost every one of our friends. 

Pansy, Luna, Miranda, and Narcisa were all sitting on the couch laughing and having a conversation before they noticed us standing in the doorway. 

While Draco, Theo, Enzo, and Blaise were all standing in front of the tv watching something very stupid. 

"Boy's their here" Narcisa said as she stood up, walking to me. Everyone was now standing looking at me. 

"We wanted to throw you a little gender reveal party" Miranda said with a huge smile. 

"Thank you so much guys" I couldn't stop smiling. Till it hit me. 

"My parents?" I questioned looking at Narcisa.

"I sent them an owl telling them darling, but um they never got back."  She gave me a pity half smile. I looked down at the floor as tears brimmed my eyes. 

"Come on darling, let's open the envelope" Mattheo grabbed my head pulling me to the front of the living room in front of the tv, that the boys turned off. 

Everyone gathered around us as I grabbed the envelope out of Mattheo's hand to open it. I suddenly then noticed how quiet the room had got and the number of eyes that were now burning into me and the envelope. 

I began to slowly open it before grabbing the small piece of paper lying inside of it. I unfolded the paper before reading it, and in that moment, tears fell down my face. I looked at Mattheo who was towering behind me reading it. 

I really saw him for the first time. The way the sun hit the side of his beautiful face. The way his glossy eyes made him even more handsome than he was before. Or the way his fluffy hair laid on his forehead from sweating from stress and the heat outside. I knew in that moment I was ready for my future with him, I was going to love him forever, I was the lucky one. 

"We are having a baby girl" Mattheo and I both said at the same time. 

Everyone began to jump up and down cheering. I turned around and threw myself into a hug with Mattheo, he hugged back immediately. Once we pulled apart, we kissed with love I've never felt before. 

"I can't wait to meet her" He whispered in my ear after pulling away from the kiss. He then grabbed the side of my face, wiping my tears with his thumps. 

I turned back around with my arm wrapped around his waist. I looked at Miranda as she was shedding tears hugging Theo. Luna and Blaise were just in pure bliss for us. Then there was Pansy, Draco, and Enzo who were all in a group hug, jumping up down. I let out a chuckle at the site of them. 

'I'm going to be an aunt to a baby girl" Miranda said while walking up with me with side arms. She was a sobbing mess. 

"You are" I also started crying at the site of her. I hugged her. 

Summer had finally ended. Mattheo and Draco dropped me off at the train station before I met up with Pansy and Enzo. I sat on one side of the compartment alone while the two sat in front of me. I was officially not going to see Mattheo still spring break for Theo and Miranda's wedding. This year was going to suck.
