Saved by Niall [Don't read. It's bad.]

Surprise.

                                                                 Chapter 18

"Are you sure?" I asked, looking up at Louis. How did he know if Niall really loved me or not. He reached his hand down and lifted my chin up, our mouths inches apart.

"Because! If I can fall in love with you so can he!" He growls and presses his lips to mine. I didn't know how to respond I couldn't think. His lips on mine. It felt wrong, I loved Niall, but at the same time it felt right. He pulled away, and I gasped for breath. "Sorry," He whispered, but I couldn't find my voice. Then I realized what just happened. I had kissed Louis.

I unlocked my door, and got out. It was still raining but I didn't care. I stood there and cried. My tears mixed with the rain as I sobbed, collapsing. I heard the car door open and Louis called out. 

"Michaela! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" I couldn't react, other than to cry harder. He walked over and reached down grabbing my arm and lifting me up. "C'mon, let's go inside."  He pulled me inside and upstairs to his room. He sat me down on the bed and walked into the bathroom coming back out with two towels. He wrapped one around me and used the other to dry himself off. I stopped crying and dried myself off, slowly. He was looking down at me and I felt uncomfortable. 

"I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have. I-" He mumbled, sitting down, putting his head in his hands. "I just! I see him, and I know he loves you but- he doesn't make sure you feel as special as you are!"

"Louis, being with him. That's what makes me feel special. When it's just me and him, he holds me tight and tells me he loves me. He never lets go of me, and he makes sure I'm safe. From myself," I say softly. "Yeah, he doesn't shower me in gifts. Because I asked him not to. Just being with him is gift enough. I'm so sorry, but you're a brother to me, and nothing more. You always have been and always will be. Niall always was so much more than that, always will be," I said, softly, as tears formed in my eyes. I was scared, scared I was going to lose Niall for one reason or another. Either because of what he had done tonight or what I had done. Either way I was terrified.
