First Day

Wearing a pathetic eye patch was something that I always used to do. One of my eyes were a deep beautiful emerald green and the other was a beautiful honey hazel color.I used to wear an eye patch to cover the brown one. I was always bullied for it.Now that I'm going to a new highschool I just wanted to start fresh, so I took the eye patch off studying my eyes in the bathroom mirror. Before I had a chance to put the eyepatch back on mikasa yelled for me "Eren it's time to start walking to school we have to go now!" I grimaced at the ugly sight of both my eyes being different colors before quickly jogging down the stairs hoping she wouldn't notice. "Eren, where's your stupid eyepatch we need to go."
"I'm not wearing it today,It hurts my eye when I wear it too much." I lied slyly
"Ok, whatever come on." She growled walking past me out to the front steps. I followed slowly behind her texting Armin about my eyepatch.
(Conversation with Armin)
EREN- "Hey guess what?"
ARMIN- "what?"
EREN- " I don't know I'm just bored and you're the only one who answers directly after reading it."
ARMIN-"Wow thanks for being a great friend Eren."
"Eren if you don't look up from your phone your going to get hit by a car." Mikasa nagged in front of me.
EREN- "sorry got to go Armin, MOM is nagging me again."
ARMIN-" ok Eren don't get hit by a car."
Even though Armin is my best friend, but not even he has seen the other color one time I lied and told him it was green instead of hazel and he believed it.
I slid my phone into my back pocket and glanced up the front steps of the school. Today was going to be a long day.
I unfolded my schedule and looked for my home room class I wonder who was stupid enough to make  A last name that sounded like penis? I silently giggled to my self while walking to Mr. Weenus's classroom.
I turned the corner to see a small room full of students one I almost dropped my books at the site of. Jean Kirstein. One of my former bullies. If I was ever going to live not in fear of this douche I had to catch him while he wasn't expecting it. Plan 'punch Jean in the face' is now being put into action.
I walked over to Jean and his group of friends, one was about the same height as Jean had freckles and was always smiling I recognized as Marco, there was one girl with brown hair and a potato in her hand and the other was a bald kid who was nagging the female for something.
I stood in front of Jean.
"Oh has the Jeager here come back for another beating?" He taunted as I stood there fuming
I punched Jean right in the face, hard. Tears came to Jean's eyes as he held his bloody nose.
"Take that horsefucker!" The bell rung and I ran out of the classroom and down the hall. I looked down at the crumpled up bloody piece of paper called my schedule and un rolled it and read
FIRST PERIOD - GYM great just what I need to be getting changed and showering in front of someone I just punched in the face.
I quickly jogged down the stairs avoiding the wild stallion screaming my name down the hall. I laughed again before making my way down to the gym.
[TIME SKIP]
All the third years had gym together.
I got changed in my gym clothes and ran into the school gym and waited on the line in with everyone else, but they were talking to their friends and I was forever alone by myself.
Mr.Delmin said we were playing dodge ball, well good thing I can actually play that game now. In middle school I was a flat out nerd who was always bullied, thank god puberty hit me like a truck on steroids.
"So we have a new student today, Eren Jeager present yourself." He practically yelled while standing in front of us. I stepped forward.
"I am Eren Jeager, it's my first day here and it's nice to meet you all." I yelled back to Mr.Delmin
"Very well, you know how to play dodgeball right kid?" He said his voice more calm now.
"Yes sir I am not a complete idiot" I heard snickers echo around the room.
"Enough!" He screamed again
"I will be assigning the team captains now, Erwin Smith." A tall blonde guy walked to the front and stood on the left side of Mr.Delmin
"And the other will be Levi Ackerman" a short raven haired female with long curly locks walked to the right side of the teacher.
"Do either of you want to take the newbie onto your team?" He asked the two team captains
The shorter of the two raised her hand in the air,
"I will." Everyone dramatically gasped
"What Levi never takes anyone on her team?" I heard a person whisper close by
"I see some good potential in him" she said monotonously
"Alright Jeager get up here by Levi you will be team blue." He said
"You two can pick the rest of your teams starting with eyebrows go." The teacher then walked to the sidelines
"I pick Hanji" a girl with brown hair and glasses came energetically running up to eyebrows and hugged him tightly.
"Hey are those two like a thing?" I whispered to Levi
"Yes but They think nobody knows about it." She whispered back
"Oh I got it now." I whispered back and ended the conversation when it was his turn to pick
"Isabel." A red haired girl with pigtails ran up to her and stood on the other side
"Mike"Erwin said and a man walked up to me and sniffed my hair I shuddered and widened my eyes.
"What the hell are you doing man?!"I yelled at him but he smiled, nodded, and walked over to Erwin
"Farlen." Levi said a kind looking blonde male walked up and stood next to me
"Hey my name is Farlen." He whispered
"Eren." I whispered back
"Would you like to sit with us at lunch?" He asked again as Erwin picked a guy named Moblit.
"Umm would Levi be ok with it she kind of scares me." I whispered back again unsure.
"What, look Levi likes you, if you saw how he greeted other people it would be obvious, I'm sure he's ok with it." He said reassuringly. Levi picked a ginger kind looking girl named Petra.
"Alright I guess." I whispered
"Great see you then." He finally ended the conversation as the dodgeball game started. So I was walking to the blue side of the gym I turned around and my reflexes jumped in before I could even process what was happening, I caught Mikasas hard ball. It was dead silent, everyone stared as Mikasa and I widened our eyes together in surprise, suddenly some cheering broke out and the game continued. Levi walked over to me
"See I told you I had a good feeling." Even I knew only a select few could catch a ball from Mikasa.I was one of them! I silently started fangirling.Mikasa hated me with a burning passion.She was my forced sibling.
Her father married my mother and voila, a relationship in which we both hate the other. So that explains why she threw the first hard ball of the game at me.
Mikasa and I went to different schools to simply avoid each other, but all good things come to an end eventually, her father forced me to transfer over here.FML.
And I absolutely refuse to call him father, Dad, Vater(German for:father) or papa.
I guess you can say I hate my family.
