*Alexa's POV*
Jason had to leave. He had planned to stay but he got a strange phone call and he sighed. He had kissed my forehead, told me goodnight, and simply left. I was sad for a moment due to the fact that he had left but overall, I was pretty happy. I know I shouldn't trust him too much and to stay away but something about him made me feel safe and great inside.
*Jason's POV*
I got a call from an old family member. My mom was looking for me. I signed in anger. Why? Why me? Why now? Why doesn't she call my brother Jerry? Why not my sister Michy? Jerry and Michy ran away when dad died and mom started abusing drugs and alcohol. They left me with her. Jerry is older than me by two years (19). Michy is younger than me by one year (16). I was furious when I received that call. I needed to be alone. I had to leave Alexa. I needed space. I love her but I just needed to be by myself. I kissed her forehead and said goodnight. I drove away to my house. I stayed a good 20 minutes in my car and just let my anger out. I cried and yelled at the moon. I felt a bit better after that.
*Alexa's POV*
I haven't heard from Jason in three days. He hasn't been at school. Im getting worried. My dad came back yesterday. He's starting to get sober. I'm proud of him. I hope he can stay strong and not relapse. I cooked him a nice breakfast and we had a good talk. After breakfast, I went up to my room and changed for school. I grabbed my My Chemical Romance backpack, put on a Bring Me The Horizon shirt with black skinny jeans, a The Misfits belt, and my Pierce The Veil custom made"Collide With The Sky" TOMS. I teased my hair a bit and put on a bit of makeup.
*Jason's POV*
I haven't talked to alexa for a couple days. I havent been to school lately either. I admit I feel a bit bad about it. Prom is just around the corner too. So I went to the flower shop this morning and boughtt a dozen red roses. Man is alexa going to have a big surprise. (*scene turns to during lunch*) I had asked the principal if I could do something special during long. He had agreed. I had avoided alexa all day. So during lunch, I pulled a wooden stool onto the stage part of the cafeteria. I brought my guitar and publicly asked Alexa onto the stage. I had her sit on the stool. "I'd like to dedicate this song to this lovely girl, Alexa." She had smiled. Her smile lit up my world. I played "Love Buzz" by Nirvana. After I had finished, I got the dozen roses, got on one knee, and said "I still remember that first time we had danced. That night we reunited. And made me fall even deeper for you. You rock my world. So... will you make me the happiest guy alive and go with me to prom?" She immediately said yes and hugged me.
