"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now it looks as though they're here to stay, oh I believe in yesterday…." I was on my way to Alexa's house. Suddenly, my favorite song come on from my playlist. "Yesterday" by The Beatles. I sang along. Before I knew it, I had arrived.
I wanted to talk to Alexa about the phone call I received. I don't know what to do. I knocked on the door. She had opened the door. When I saw her beautiful face, I suddenly felt even more nervous. She invited me inside. Her dad was out of town.
"Hey, remember the other night I was here and I got a phone call?" She nodded. "Well here's the deal. My 'mom' wants to meet up with me. And I wasn't honest with you about my family…" "What do you mean Jason?" I sighed. "I have two siblings that are dead to me. They had ran away and left me behind. I don't like to talk about them. But why did 'she' have to call me? She could've called them instead."
I felt a lump in my throat from my anger. I wanted to cry but I knew I had to hold it in. Alexa hugged me. I felt okay for once in her arms. I never want to leave her. She made me feel things I never felt before with other girls. She's different. She's amazing. She's perfect. I can't believe she's mine. Suddenly, I couldnt do it anymore…
