Beebane Forest, on the surface, was just like any other forest. 

There were trees. There were birds. There were bugs, and squirrels, and lizards, and voles.

But there were also cats. 

Cats that were fierce, quick, and clever. Cats that came to rule the forest itself, climbing to the top of the food chain, and driving off even the most fearsome of predators, such as the foxes and the badgers.

Over time, the cats of the wilderness realized the potential of banding together to become one and found ways to function as a whole. 

Things were peaceful, for a short time.

But, after, many moons, some of the cats stopped seeing eye to eye. Individuals wanted to change the way of things to fit their own ideals, and when they were silenced, they took matters into their own paws.

The First Clan was in despair. A conflict broke out, which few dare to speak the tale of even to this day, and many cats- both brash and brave- became one with StarClan.

Eventually, order was restored as best it could be, but it had cost lives that could not be taken back. Though the cats were still fractured into multiple packs, a unanimous decision was made to create a list of rules which all felines in the forest must follow.

They called this The Warrior Code.

The four largest groups of cats agreeably divided the forest into territories, drawing scent lines to mark where their property began and ended, and went their separate ways. 

It has been a great many years since the four Clans united, or even made full contact with one another.

Until now.

STONECLAN:

Led by Goldstar, StoneClan is the strongest and largest of the four Clans. StoneClan cats value the ways of The First Clan, holding togetherness, trust, and teamwork at heart.

IRONCLAN:

IronClan is the second-biggest Clan, and under the leadership of weary Lionstar, it is known to have some of the most powerful warriors, and holds honor in high value.

RIPPLECLAN:

RippleClan has its Clan camp in close proximity to a now bird-scarce duck pond, and cats from this Clan are often more laid back than others, and oddly fond of water.

BIRCHCLAN:

The smallest Clan of the four, BirchClan is also the most secretive. BirchClan cats are avid followers of tradition, and their Medicine Cats are usually very in tune with StarClan.

STARCLAN:

StarClan are the deceased warrior ancestors of the Clans who live on in spirit form after dying, and watch over the living Clan cats. There is no specific leader for StarClan since there are many cats from all four Clans that work together. They are responsible for sending signs and omens to the living cats.
