Cara Delevigne as Artemis

I remembered running, laughing, as carefree as anything

I remembered running, laughing, as carefree as anything. That was my life. Emphasis on was. Now, I only know pain, death and torture. For the past 13 years, I have only known that. I always wondered why it had to be ME with this pain. And why no one came for me? If they were so happy with me then, why not come for me now? But it matters not. I won't spend my life dwelling in the past. I only look back if it's worth it. It's not. So don't try to make me feel better and don't give me pity if you value your life. People say the Avengers are the best. Now that I know them, I agree. But this isn't their story. Its mine.

Artemis POV. Flashback

"Storm Witch get over here NOW, or else I'll do it again"

God how I hated that voice, that name. No matter how many times I tell them, they never listen. I once told them to use my name. Guess what I got back? A cold stinging slap and starvation. Wow. Sighing I got up to go to them.

"Coming sir", I replied calmly. I had to make my voice as robot-like and emotionless as possible. This was getting more and more difficult given the fact that I had my memories back and all. Honestly, if you want a robot, just make one. I strutted down when I heard a ringing in my ears.

Oh no. That only happened when something bad was about to happen. Little did I know, it was the best. And then, I was thrown off my feet, onto the wall as I heard a voice say,

"Let's kick their butt people!"
