Bucky POV
Fury was going on and on about this strange assassin who was from HYDRA. This time it was far more difficult since SHEILD only knew that it was a girl. That's it. We knew nothing else about this deadly assassin. I had been hoping that I would not have to deal with HYDRA for some time. I was interrupted from my thoughts when Tony called out to me.
"Earth to bucket. You there?"
I rolled my eyes at his annoying nickname but couldn't stop the small smile from crossing my face. They were making me soft. "Sir when can we dispatch?", asked Natasha. We all looked up at him eagerly, until Friday announced that the assassin had been spotted near a small base. "Suit up guys", sighed Steve.
We all came back in 10 minutes. It was me, Steve, Nat, Tony, Bruce, Thor, Loki for some strange reason and he looked just as baffled, Wanda, Pietro( he doesn't die cos he recovered and he's the best) and Clint. "To the quinjet, we go", exclaimed Clint in a childish manner. We all grinned and followed him.
"Ok guys here's the plan. Tony, Nat and Pietro will go in first. They will try their best to clear out the entrance, Then, Bruce and Wanda will go in. Wanda you must try to at least make sure innocent people get out. Bruce, SMASH! Thor, Loki and Buck will go last. It's Thor and Loki's job to make sure that the assassin doesn't get any ideas. Buck, I know this is hard for you but you have to look through rooms for hostages and prisoners. Everyone got their role? Good", explained Steve.
"You know, what if the assassin is like, nice? Like if they were being mind controlled like bucket here?", wondered Tony aloud.
"Let's not worry about that yet shall we?", replied Nat.
The quinjet finally arrived at the location. Steve mouthed a quiet signal to us all. We all went in our separate directions, hoping that this won't be our last mission.
Loki POV
I don't know what they were thinking but it's good to be out of those chains. I wondered why this was so important that I would go. At least they trusted me enough to let me go, even if I'm with my oaf brother and that super soldier. Rolling my eyes, I continued following the two, who were occasionally looking back to see if I was there. My thoughts began to wander to this mysterious assassin.
Suddenly, my magic pricked up. Slowly I saw a shadow in the trees. "Look out brother!", I yelled. Thor and James whirled around just in time to see an agent jump on them, Fortunatly, or unfortunately, Thro rammed his hammer down, in time for the HYDRA agent to go flying. They both turned around to look at me. After a couple of seconds of silence, I snapped, "What? Either say what you want or stop looking at me!" Thor immediately went into brother mode and started thanking me profoundly.
I waved him off when we all heard an explosion. That was our cue from Wanda that the coast is clear. We all sprinted in the direction of the explosion. The moment we got there, we were met with a strange sight. Not a single agent was in sight. Only Tony was hovering in the hole in the wall, while looking dumbfoundedly at the sight of a girl with long blonde locks, reminding me of my mother. She wasn't stirring. Wanda was looking horrified. "I-I made s-sure that the-e coast was c-c-clear", she whimpered. Natasha immediately walked up to her and consoled her while the rest of us stared at the strange girl lying in front of us.
Tony POV
Who was she? All of us were staring at her, trying to think clearly. There was not another agent in sight. We had to get her out of here. That assassin might still be around. Looking around, realized that none of my teammates were gonna do anything, seeing as they were frozen to the spot. Steve looked shocked, Bucky looked like he was gonna cry and that he was heartbroken, and so was I, seeing that whatever this girl went through it could not have been pretty. Nat was nearly on the verge of tears and was holding on to Clint, Wanda was crying, Clint looked furious, and Thor and Loki looked unnerved.
"Well folks, we can't just stand here all day, so I'm gonna take her to the quinjet. You all can continue your jobs. Steve, there is no need to be frozen again. Wanda, Nat, Buck, and Clint get a grip on yourselves, You are some of the strongest people here. Thor, Loki why do you look so surprised? Come on spill the beans."
Thor slowly whisper and hissed. "Weren't any of you listening to Fury? Look at that amulet. It's the one the assassin was seen wearing in every photo! Guys, she is the assassin. That's what HYDRA turned her into."
Slowly everyone processed the news and looked down at the amulet hanging out.

"Well then", Steve finally broke the silence. "The mission was easier than expected. Let's take her to the jet and get back to the tower. We can see what to do next later."
We all agreed, (surprisingly) and I slowly moved towards her. I bent down carefully, not wanting to wake up the girl who just happened to look like an innocent person but was actually dangerous. I gently picked her up, and that's when I knew we were doomed. Her eyes flew open, and they weren't normal eyes, oh no, they were galaxy coloured, but not the good ones, and she looked purely terrifying.

Everyone took a breath at the way she looked. And then, all hell broke loose.
