Kyojuro's Eyes
Valentine's Day was in two weeks and love was in the air. Everyone was talking about what they would do for this special occasion. Even us Demon Slayers were talking about it. Well, I can't speak for all us Demon Slayer but I can speak for me, because I needed help with my valentines.
I decided to visit Mitsuri, my close friend and old apprentice. She was the Love Pillar and all so this would definitely be up her alley. She was more of an expert when it came to these kinds of things. Walking up to her estate, I noticed her working on a valentine's of her own. I guessed it was for her friend Iguro Obanai. I smiled at the thought. I wasn't a too big fan of Obanai's protectiveness towards Mitsuri but I thought they were overall cute together.
Mitsuri: *Humming while putting the final touches on her valentine* And...done. *Holds up valentine* It's perfect. Obanai will love it.
Me: *Pops out of nowhere* Ah, Mitsuri!
Mitsuri: *Startled* Gah! *Falls on her butt*
Me: Whoops. Sorry. *Helps the frightened Mitsuri up* I didn't mean to scare you.
Mitsuri: Uh...that's alright. It's always a joy to see you, Rengoku~San! Do you need anything?
Me: Yes, I do. Valentine's Day is on it's way and I need your help.
Mitsuri: Ooooh! It wouldn't have anything to do with Kanae would it?
I started blushing when she called it out. I gotta admit. I was a bit embarrassed about my crush on the flower pillar, Kanae.
Me: Yeah, it would. I wanna give her something special on Valentine's Day but I don't know what.
Mitsuri: You should give her flowers.
Me: Really?
Mitsuri: Yeah, really. You see, Rengoku, Kanae loves three things. Family, Friends, and Flowers. Give her some flowers for valentine's day and she'll absolutely love it.
Me: I'm not sure though. I feel like every guy's gonna give their girl flowers. I wanna be special.
Mitsuri: Well, if it's special you want, why not give her her favorite flowers? That way, it'll be really special.
Me: You know, that might actually work, Mitsuri. But I can't ask her what her favorite flowers are. That would be weird.
Mitsuri: Don't worry about it, Rengoku~San. I know exactly how to get that information. I just know you and Kanae are just gonna be so cute together.
Me: *Blushes harder* You really think so, Mitsuri?
Mitsuri: I know so! Heck, if you don't think flowers will be enough, I got a whole crate of ideas that are certain to make your valentine to Kanae super duper special. Just leave everything to me.
Me: (A little nervous) Uh, okay.
Mitsuri: *Smiles* You'll like it, Rengoku. I promise!
I decided to trust Mitsuri on what she said. There was going to be another hashira meeting in a few days. Maybe I could talk to Kanae some more during then. Until then, I would have to wait for the info.
