Kyojuro's Eyes
That faithful day had finally come for us demon slayers. That day has finally come when I would go up and ask Kanae to be my valentine. We haven't spoke a lot to each other since the Hashira Meeting. I had only told her I wanted to take her somewhere that day, and there was no guarantee that she would say yes, but Valentine's Day was only once a year and I wasn't going to wait another 364 days to ask her, so I decided to ceased my moment.
Mitsuri: Ready to meet your princess, Kyojuro?
Me: Ready as I'll ever be.
Iguro: You're going to do fine, Rengoku.
Me: Thanks, Iguro! What are you guys goin to do for Valentine's Day?
Mitsuri: Obanai's going to take me to this cafe once you head off on your way. It's going to be so romantic.
Iguro: I just love this valentine of yours, my dear/
Mitsuri: Awwww! Thanks, Obanai!
Me: Well, have fun! I'll take things from here.
Mitsuri: Good luck, Rengoku~San!
I watched as Mitsuri left . Once they were out of sight, I made my way towards the Butterfly Estate.
Kanae's Eyes
Valentine's Day was upon us. I was sweating like mad trying to prep myself to see Kyojuro. I just couldn't help but be nervous.
Shinobu: Just chill out, Kanae. You're going to be fine. Your hair's all messy. Let me fix it real quick.
I sat on my knees while Shinobu fixed my hair. Once she was done, I decided to calm myself and focus on today.
Shinobu: You good?
Me: I'm good.
Shinobu: Good.
Aoi: *Comes in with other butterfly girls* Miss Kocho, Rengoku's out there waiting for you.
Me: *Blushes* He is? Ahem, I'm almost done.
Kanao: Here's the valentine, Miss Kocho.
Me: Thank you, Kanao!
Shinobu: You should be good to go, Nee~San.
Me: Thanks, Nee~San!
Shinobu: Do you need me to escort you outside?
Me: No, I got it.
Shinobu, Aoi, Kanao: Good luck!
Kiyo, Sumi, Naho: Good luck!
Me: Thanks, everyone! *Gets up* I'll be back soon.
I left the bedroom and made my way outside to the garden. It was the moment of truth. I saw Kyojuro out there, waiting for me. I clutched my box of chocolate behind me. I wouldn't give it to him until later.
