My names Naomi. I don't have a last name, i never met my Parents, as sad as that sounds i had a pretty decent life.

As long as i can remember i lived in a jungle... well a concrete jungle, bars, swimming, ropes and weights, pretty much the whole caboodle.

I had people all around telling me how amazing i was and how talented i am. My ego is pretty high to say the least.

"Soldier! Attention!" I turn to face Quaritch with an eye roll.

"What do you want now" i say with a groan.

"Shes ready." Holy fuck, finally! 3 years of waiting and its done. My eyes lit up and i bolted toward the lab.

I slammed open the Lab door and pressed my hands up against the tube. There she was, my Avatar.

"She looks exactly like me" i say in awe

"Yeah but shes blue" laughed out a scientist.

"Nah shit, zip it" i bit back

"You head out to pandora with us tonight." Quaritch spoke, his arms crossed and head high "you can handle that right?"

" Colonel i need you to understand, i have been in this ship for 6 years. training for this one thing. I am obviously ready."

Now that i realise it, its weird hearing Quaritches voice again after loosing him, its also weird seeing this big blue creature all the time. Oh well it'll grow on me.

Quaritch smirked. "Thats what i like to hear Soldier"

"I don't mean to rush but uhm, do you want to link up?" The scientist spoke.

I turn to face him with a pissed expression "you mean link to the avatar right? Not the other thing"

The scientist begins to freak out, waving his hands around "NO NO I MEANT AVATAR LINK OH NO!!"

I laughed "I'm joking. Because if you were asking me out i would kill you." Ugh I'm so not funny but i love it.

i laid down into the pod, eyes already shut and the biggest smile on my face. "Listen kid just breathe, relax and empty your mind"

"I know i know now shut up and press the button" i waved him off.

The lid of my pod closed, i curled my toes and then relaxed my body, fuck. Yes.

I closed my eyes and my mind was blank, the cute little white dots i had when my eyes were shut disappeared, my mind didn't feel fuzzy, and the ringing in my ears were no more.

I opened my eyes as my pod door opened again, did it not work? I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Wow i feel heavy.

I look down "MY TITS ARE BLUE HOLY"

"First thing she does when shes in her Avatar is look at her- i expect nothing less" Quaritch sweat dropped.

"Get a load of this!" I spoke while standing up, I didn't wobble or stumble so i decided to walk, the scientists followed me with their arms out incase i fell.

I left through the door into the air chamber, the air shifted and the door opened, it was bright at first and my eyes had to adjust. But when they adjusted i fell in love.

The gras was green, the sky bright blue, three moons in the sky, flowers i had only read about in my books. I took a step forward and my foot touched the ground, i wiggled my toes around, feeling the dirt slide in-between my toes.

"Welcome to Pandora kid" Quaritch spoke putting a hand on my shoulder, i look over to him and behind him i see a shuttle land a few meters over. Im guessing thats my real body, they will probably transport it somewhere safe.

"Lets get some rest and tomorrow we will explore and hunt those fucking sully's" quaritch left and went back inside. I followed him in, stopping at the door way and turning my head to look back at the jungle.

"I will find you." And with that i headed inside.

So i made neteyam and naomi 18 instead of 15 for this story. Because i don't need to be judged for Naomis Personality.

Shes naturally confident and can be seen as flirty, some people don't like that and if thats you, leave ig?
