Gotcha ~2

I left the bed i was in and started making my way to the front gate. Quaritch told me to meet him outside at 6am, it was currently 5am. too god dam early.

I opened the door. The native birds sung their song, and the breeze kissed my cheeks. I ran up to the tree and ran up it like it was nothing. I got distracted and swung through the trees, i laughed like I hadn't in ages, i was free.

I went to grab onto a vine and almost missed, but last minute my hand connected to the very end. My heart was pounding. My put my hand on my heart in shock.

I pulled myself back up and dropped onto a branch. This is so much better then my concrete jungle at home. This is the first time ever seeing nature outside of a book.

Even on earth i never saw nature, no grass, no trees. Nothing. Everyone was scared i would bond and not want to leave for Pandora if i did. Bullshit.

I took this like to grab onto the long braid in my hair and touch the weird tentacle looking thing at the end of it. I winced when i touched it. "It really is sensitive" i heard a snap.

I got into a defensive stance, my hands balled up in fists. And my feet at 12 and 2. I looked over to my right to see a big explosion. Shit.

I climbed up the tree i stood on to get a better look. I saw Na'vi huddled in the middle of a train wreck, passing around guns? I squint my eyes in hope it would help.

I saw the helicopters charge toward the Na'vi but before they could should one got shot down. I huff in annoyance and start jumping from tree to tree. "Fucking brain dead shits".

I reach the last tree before the clearing and see the Na,vi on banshees. A young Na'vi boy looked toward my direction and i hid behind a branch.

"Come on bro we have to get down there" one shouted.

"Dad will skin us alive!" The one who looked at me said. They flew off toward the action.

"Soldier where in gods name are you!!?" Quaritch... i roll my eyes and start heading back to camp.

I jump down infront of Quaritch and the rest of the group. "And you were?" He questioned.

"Scouting. Saw the fight, what happened" i spoke confused.

"They blew up our food and weapon shipment" one of the Avatars said.

I bit my lip and looked down, i thought they were going to be friendly, i guess not.

"So you are late and its now 12pm, we will eat, i will tell you the plan, and we will go hunt down the first crash site, my body. For clues" Quaritch hesitated at the body.

Sick dead body of Quaritch. I skipped to the lab for some dinner. I was out for along time and didn't realise i was hungry.

{time skip to the hunt}

"So remember stick together, no wondering." He looked at me with stern eyes.

I flipped him off and tightened my grip on my knife, I didn't want to use guns for this, i was trained on knives and bows for this mission and i will use them, i was pretty skilled with it.

I flipped my knife around in my hand while i looked around for any possible threats, i touched the plants as i moved with my free hand, i touched one plant and it closed when i tapped it.

I touched the rest of the plants like that one and they closed up "big Venus fly trap, dope"

"Quit playing around kid." Quaritch ordered as his grip on his gun tightened.

The sun was setting. "I'm going to scout around..." a avatar tried to follow me "alone." The avatar stood back and looked at quaritch, who just nodded his head allowing me to go.
