New Life and Family - Mashton/Cake

Duncan's 2nd Birthday

3 months later...

It was January 29th, they all went to Australia, the day that Duncan was born and they guys were all getting all the things for his birthday.

"Okay, who buys the cake?" Luke asked.
"Michael" Ashton and Calum answered.
"Why me?" Michael asked.
"Fine, I'll buy it" Luke answered.
"we will find the gift" Ashton said.
"I'm stuck with decorations" Calum said.

Later....

The guys got everything, Luke called his parents to come over to help so, did Calum. Luke and Calum were getting the decorations, Michael and Ashton helped out.

Luke and Calum's parents arrived, they all had to help out with one subject which was decorating.

Michael and Ashton was wrapping the gift.

"Is it going to be the same for Melody?" Michael asked.
"Maybe" Ashton answered smiling at him.
"Where is Melody?" Michael asked.
"Taking a nap" Ashton answered.

Later...

Luke was opening the door to Duncan and Melody's room, he saw that both were sleeping in the same crib, he chuckled quietly and sighed, "I bet Ashton did that" Luke whispered smiling.

Duncan slowly opened his eyes, he saw Luke at the door then, noticed Melody next to him.

Luke walked over to the crib, he smiled and picked him up, "hey, my little boy" Luke said to him.

Michael walked in, looked in Melody's crib and didn't see her, "where is she?!" Michael said beginning to panic. "Melody was in Duncan's crib" Luke answered, Michael walked over to Duncan's crib, picked her up and held her close to him.

He sighed, "I think Ashton put her in Duncan's crib" Luke said, "I think so too.." Michael said back to him.

Later...

Everyone sang for Duncan, gave him gifts and cut the cake too. Calum took a picture of Luke helping Duncan open the gifts.

Everybody helped pick up and clean the mess that Duncan left of tissue paper and the stains of cake too.

Later...

They all left, Luke and Calum were in their room with Duncan. Calum put his hand on Luke's stomach, "another one is on the way.." Calum said, "yeah" Luke said. Luke looked at Duncan beginning to fall asleep in their bed, Calum smiled and kissed his forehead.

"Almost one more hour before he was born" Luke said.
"Yep" Calum said and smiled.
"I was still in labor.. Think about your funeral" Luke said looking at Calum's face.
"He was the one giving you pain" Calum said laughing.
"I know" Luke said beginning to laugh.

Luke looked at Duncan, think about how fast time went, "I hope you never leave me" Luke said, "I won't" Calum answered, "I meant Duncan and our new one too" Luke said.

It was the exact time Duncan was born, 10:47. Luke held Duncan, smiling and kissed his head, "your finally here with us" Luke whispered to him.
