"It's not bad... It's kind of 'eh' but not as bad as you say." Says Laura as she has her legs sit over Raph's lap. Between them in a bowl of popcorn as they watched a rerun of Space Heroes on the TV.

"But when your brother watched it, religiously, and knows it like the back of his hand - it gets infuriating. The sequel show was a little better, but not by much." Raph says. "Like, he's watched episodes he's seen before and still acts surprised. There's one where Ryan had to murder one of his crewmen, and that has run at least three times before. Leo had his focus glued to that screen when this is on."

"But not as bad." Laura points out.

As Raph shrugged, popping some popcorn in his mouth, the door to the lab opens with a metallic grunt as it revealed April and Donnie. Both seemed to be excited about something.

"Oh, perhaps we can invite them to join us!" April suggested.

Donnie nods. "Sounds good. Hey, Raph? You and L.A. got any plans for tonight?"

Raph looked at Laura, who shrugged as she knew that nothing special was planned. "Not that we are both aware of. Why?"

"Mister Murakami is trying out new recipes for his pizza gyoza and he wants us to have a taste test," April explains. "And well, we were wondering if you two were willing to join us tonight?"

"Like a double date?" Raph asks.

"Yeah, practically." Donnie shrugs. "Mikey and Ti are doing something for the Foot and Leo is speaking with Usagi currently, Casey and Temp are at a hockey game in the state. Whaddaya say?"

Laura and Raph glanced at each other. "I am down if you are," Laura said.

"Mark us both down," Raph said with a smile.

"You wanna know something? Never been on this side of town." Laura mentioned as she landed on the sidewalk. Raph shortly follows her as April and Donnie lead the way.

"It was run by the Purple Dragons a little while back. But all has been quiet since their head honcho was maimed." Donnie says. "They left town and went more west."

"'Maimed?' By what?" Laura asks.

"A demon..." April said, visibly disturbed by the events.

Laura's skin crawled. Not in a weirded-out manner but as if it crawled to the sound of the word, positively. That part freaked the dragon girl out. Why would it--

"Here we are!" Said Donnie, opening the door to the restaurant.

"You sure it's safe?" Laura asks as she gently pulled her partner aside. "I mean - are we safe?"

Raph understood her concern: four mutants being in a public building? Normally it is a red flag to avoid, especially in the way of the ninja. "Murakami knows we are mutants. He might not know of you, but he is a pretty chill guy. You'll see, hon."

Laura nods, putting her faith in her partner. Before they enter, the dragon-girl felt something... Off. She glances around but sees no one. She shrugs and enters the building.

"Ah, Raphael. It is good to hear from you in person once again." Mr. Murakami says. "How have you been?"

"I've been well. Granted, my sleep schedule is a mess now that I am back, but I am managing." Raph said. "Oh, and I would love to introduce you to my girlfriend, Laura."

"Nice to meet you, dear." He said, hand open for her to shake.

"Same here, sir." She replies. It was then did she notice the dark sunglasses over his eyes. It didn't take long for her to put two and two together.
