Leo had called Raph into the Dojo, there was something that Leo noticed and so didn't his younger brother.

"She--"

"She doesn't remember what happened last night." Raph confirms.

Leo nods with a pained sucking of breath. "That honestly sucks. Was there anything she left out during her retelling, do you know?"

"She was also paranoid about a supposed shadow figure following us. Didn't see anything or anyone, for that fact." Raph says. "She felt it since the restaurant."

"Damn. We might need to get into contact with Tiger Claw, sooner or later." Leo says.

Raph nods in agreement. "I will do that soon. But there wad something else. Her voice. It sounded as if someone else was also talking - using her in order to do so- during the fight."

"What do you mean?"

"Her voice wasn't her own. It was raspy, ancient... I..." His green face paled. With everything he saw at that facility, could it be that someone was trying to...? "It was HotHead..."

"Are you certain?"

"I have only heard that voice once before, Leo." Raph states. "And possession is in his skill set."

Leo goes quiet for a moment. "We gotta see if D can get a DNA sample from Laura."

"Why, exactly?"

"Raph, I just... I just want to be proven wrong. I don't want to think of that possibility." Leo says.

Raph's green eyes narrowed. "What do you mean by that?"

"We haven't interacted with any other dragon-like creature, mutant or otherwise." Leo points out. He didn't need to really spell it out to his brother. "Call Casey, you two will head back to that abandoned facility. If there wad something you missed, check."

Raph sighs with a nod. Before he leaves, he makes a note.

"If you suspect that she's... Why would the Kraang try to make...?" He didn't want to sound weird while referring to his girlfriend. But what Leo said made some form of sense. Kavaxas was the only dragon creature they met before Laura. But he was only summoned once, right? And why would the Kraang be stupid to summon a demon just to make a mutant?

"That I don't know. But we will have to wait till we get something from Don."

Donnie was quiet, more so than usual. Being one of his closest friends, Laura knew something was up. Check ups normally don't require blood testing. There was no scan, no test of the sort. And Donnie would be all over that with everyone.

"What's wrong?" Laura finally asked.

"Hmm? Oh. Nothing." Donnie says quickly.

"D... You're quiet. When you're quiet, something's wrong." The young woman states matter of factly.

"I am just waiting for this result to come in." He says.

"For DNA and the supposed head injury?"

Donnie sighs. "It doesn't matter."

"It matters if you're using my blood for something. I'd like to be informed of what's happening." Laura demands softly.

"It is just a test against some DNA we found last night." Donnie would kick himself if he could. "In the... Uhhh... Result of the collapse. Checking for human or mutant prints. I asked April for hers earlier. Don't- don't worry."

Laura sighed. Donnie was a terrible liar. She just couldn't drop it from her mind, but she has to play along. If there's one thing she learned from the turtles, poker face is their least learned skill, but to be able to know what secrets they hide is a challenge. From the corner of her eye, Laura spots Raph heading towards the front of the lair. She gets up, a bit woozy, but tries to call out to her partner, but he was gone.
