Previously in Chapter 13: 

James: I wouldn't change anything too, I wish every moment to be this sweet between us. Till my last breath, I will love you. One day Jewel, as soon as we are both at the right age, I will ask for your hand in marriage.

I blushed while widening my eyes. My heart was pounding but I was still happy. I smiled and wrapped my hands around his neck as he wrap his hands around my waist.

Jewel: we'll see if my dad will allow you to marry me *giggles*

James: I'm sure I have his permission *chuckles*

Jewel: pretty much yes since he knows you well

James: it's a good thing ey? he was the one who gave me the idea of taking you out on a date

Jewel: true

James and I stayed silent but looked into each other's eyes lovingly and were about to kiss when my phone started ringing.

" Back to Present "

Jewel's POV: 

I leaned back and let go of James while he sighed. I checked my phone and the Hospital number, calling me. I answered it while James could hear it don't worry.  

Nurse 3: hello? is this Ms. Crystal Jewel?

Jewel: ah yes-

James: future Winston, ain't that right treasure *smiles*

Jewel: *nudges him* haha very funny Babe. Anyways, what do you need?

Nurse 3: it's about your friend Ms. Starshine and Ma'am Gekka. They are awake

I widen my eyes and froze and looked at James. He had the same reaction but smiled afterward. James took the phone from me so I can process it and wrapped his arm around me. I looked down for a while to process while still listening 

James: that's great news! so when can we see them? 

Nurse 3: well if you want to right now you can, they are fine with visitors as long as it's their friends or relatives. 

James: alright, we'll be there with the others. Thank you, Sir. 

Nurse 3: you're welcome. 

James hung up the phone while placing it in his pocket and looked at me. I still can't believe it, who healed them, how, when, and why? I looked at James and couldn't help but smile back. 

James: hey, what matters is that they are awake. 

Jewel: I guess, I'm just curious about who healed them and why

James: and how?

Jewel: *giggles* yeah 

James: hey, whoever helped two of them they are heroes. They helped our loved ones 

Jewel: yeah, you're right Babe. Let's go tell the others, shall we?

James: of course Treasure but first...I still need one more thing.

Jewel: oh sure go ahead, James. 

James pulled me into a kiss while I rolled my eyes playfully and kissed him back. after a minute we pulled apart. And hugged each other closely. 

James: if only we have more time together alone

Jewel: Babe, we have time together tomorrow remember? *giggles*

James: yes but I mean not interrupted too

Jewel: we'll just have to see, now come on babe. Let's go tell the others about the good news
