We finally arrived at Jake's tent. I opened it entering inside

Jake looked at neteyam "what the fuck were you thinking boy getting into fights like that I expected that from lo'ak but from you? You are to be on your best behavior yet you're acting like a delinquent out here. and y/n you let this happen?"

I stayed quiet thinking about what to say

"You let this happen and I'm so disappointed in you two so disappointed"

"I'm sorry sir it was my faul-" I interrupted neteyam quickly

"Sir to be frank it was an act of self defense he punched lo'ak he deserved it. I mean I don't think anyone would just sit there and let someone get punched let alone if it's family I mean what if someone had punched someone you loved would you A beat his ass or B talk it out" I talked back crossing my arms

Jake looked astonished that I would even talk back like that

Neteyam looked at me surprised as well

Jake looked at me "you can't punish neteyam. that would be very unreasonable and unethical. It was an act of self defense and neteyam was just protecting us that wouldn't be fair sir"

Jake looked at us and sighed shaking his head he looked mad

"if anything like this happens again you're both gonna be grounded"

"Neteyam you're dismissed but y/n you stay here."

"Yes sir." Neteyam left his tent he was most likely waiting outside for me

"Listen. And I want you to listen very closely to me you got it?"

I nodded listening to what Jake had to say 

"This whatever it is that you have going on with this boy needs to end now. Kiri told me everything and I don't want you near him anymore he's trouble. Your lucky that neteyam was there because man if I saw him I would've-"

I gave him a small smile "I know Jake I am not with him anymore."

Jake gave me a small smile "good." He patted me on the head and gave me a hug

I hugged him back "I am sorry for starting problems"

"No y/n you are no troublemaker that is my sons, Yet you do have a smart mouth." He chuckled "as much as I hate to admit it I'm proud of neteyam for beating his ass but. He still should've solved it a different way and stopped he almost gave the kid brain damage."

I chuckled "I know" I pulled away from the hug

"You are dismissed." He smiled

"Thank you sir" I walked out the tent seeing neteyam outside

"I'm sorry you had to see me do that." Neteyam said

"It's all good you were protecting me and lo'ak like you said."

"I know."

"You stuck up for me why is that y/n"

He looked at me smiling
