You don’t respect the older,
You don’t respect the younger,
You don’t respect the equal,
You don’t respect the lesser.
How do you respect yourself,
When you know not of it?
I suppose you don’t.
It explains your spandex fashion
And ill fitting clothing.
It explains your ‘fowl’ lips
And your cake like excuse of a face.
It explains your inappropriate language
And your ability to laugh at your future job
As nothing more than an uncivil cashier.
Respect is not given,
Respect is not stolen,
Respect is not worthless.
Respect is gained,
Respect earned,
Respect is confidence not mistaken as arrogance.
