Addie had made all of the arrangements with Emma at school for our double date tonight. And it didn't take me much, actually nothing at all, to convince Bash to come along with us. He really is infatuated by her. I hope for his sake, that she turns out to be his mate.

After getting back to the pack house and dropping off all of Addie's things, she took a shower and got changed into some of her own clothes.

I was waiting downstairs for her when her scent wafted into the room. I turn my head as she walks in. She is wearing a grey dress that falls just above her knees with a thick scarf wrapped around her neck. Bash is already waiting at my car as we get outside. Addie is being too kind and trying to offer the front passenger seat to him, but I tell him it is too fucking bad and he'll have to suck it up because there was no way my mate would be sitting in the back.

When we get to Emma's house, both Addie and Bash get out and met her at the door. As they all make their way back to the car, Addie is laughing and has a huge smile on her face. The four of us get seated in a booth at the back of the place. It's a cozy little diner that Addie and Emma picked, with mood lighting and the place isn't overly busy so there is lots of privacy. The waitress has already taken our drink orders when Addie asks "So Emma, are you excited it's almost your birthday?"

Emma squeals, "Yes, I am so ready to find my mate." She takes a quick glance at Sebastian and blushes, "I can't wait anymore after seeing you two love-sick puppies always hanging on to each other!" she laughs.

"What? We do not!" Addie quickly retorts.

Sebastian laughs loudly, "Ya, you two kind of are inseparable lately."

Addie humphs and I let out a chuckle at how flustered she is "it's not a bad thing babe. I can't help how unbelievably attractive you are, I just can't stay away" I say to her with a wink. My words make her cheeks go beet red and can't help but smile at her.

Addie quickly composes herself, as she turns back to Emma "Anyways, what do you want to do for your birthday?" she asks.

Before Emma has a chance to respond, Sebastian interjects "I'll throw you a party if you want?"

"Really?" she gasps in surprise. Bash shakes his head up and down and lets out a "Mmhmm."

The waitress comes back to take our orders, and then the three of them start talking vigorously about plans for her party, and I turn and start staring at Addie, not particularly interested in the details of their conversation.
