Chapter 1: 'The Birthday'

I woke up and looked at the time it was 7:47 a.m., early as usual. I took a shower and got dressed. I went down the stairs and got to the kitchen and saw my mom drinking coffee.

"Good Morning Caroline"

"Good Morning Mom" ,I said with a smile

"I made you some breakfast,it's in the microwave"

"OK..Thanks Mom"

"OK Care, I'm off to work", My mom said standing up from the chair to leave.

" Wait, Mom remember tonight we are celebrating Elena's 16 Birthday at Grill" ,I said

It was weird that we were going to celebrate Elena's 16 birthday at a bar but still.

"Oh Yeah Today is Elena's Birthday...I completely forgot" ,she said

"Well remember I'm staying with her at her Aunt Jenna's house...okay?"

"Ok then I'll see you tomorrow." My mom quickly kissed me on the forehead and left.

An hour later I was with Matt, Elena's boyfriend . We were buying the last decorations we needed for the party. "How many people did you invited for Elena's birthday?" Matt asked.

"I just gave out invitations randomly so....I don't know I invited like a lot of people maybe everybody at school" I said

"Care, Are you serious?!" Matt Said as we both giggled

"Is the birthday of my best friend is the least I can do for her" I said with a big smile on my face

"I'm happy that Elena has a friend like you Care" We both smile

Time went by really fast. Bonnie and I were putting the last decorations. And the only thing I could think about was were people going to come to the party.I was actually nervous.

"Yes, Caroline people are going to come to the party" Bonnie said Interrupting my thoughts "So you can read minds now..huh." I said. Bonnie giggled

" Is easy to know what your thinking, Care your face tells me" Bonnie said

"My Face?." I said teasing Bonnie "

"Your face expressions..you know what I mean" Bonnie said with a big smile "Anyways I don't know Care but I feel that tonight you are going find everything you've been looking for"

"Looking for...you mean my headphones what are you talking about Bonnie?..you can feel things now" I said sarcastically with a smile.

"I'm serious Care, And I'm talking about you and your love life.."

"Love Life ..." I said with a confused face "Bonnie you know my dilemma..."

"I know Care, girl likes boy, boy likes girl" she said and whisper "sex"

"Exactly"

"Still I think your dilemma is pretty dangerous"

"Is not dangerous is just fun" I said with a big smile on my face while Bonnie rolled her eyes at me.

I took out my cell phone that was in one of my back jeans pockets. I looked at the time and it was 7:04 pm. "Hey guys I'm going to the bathroom..gotta change and put on a little makeup...gotta get ready for the party" I smiled to Bonnie and Matt and rapidly walked to the bathroom.

I looked at myself in the mirror for a few seconds and then started to change into a new outfit. I had a red strapless dress on, some high red heels. I gotta say I looked hot!. I walked out of the bathroom and closed the door.The Grill was full everybody was here some people were dancing others talking everybody seemed to be having a good time. I looked at the bar and there was a man that caught my eye.I couldn't see his face but all I saw was back a hot back . I couldn't take my eyes off him so I walked towards him until I heard everybody say "Surprise!"
