Chapter 8: 'Bonfire'

---Caroline's P.O.V---

Two weeks have passed, two weeks Klaus has been gone. I haven't text Kol or even called him in the past few weeks. I actually haven't been out of my house for like a week or so. I wanted to at least forget about all the vampire drama for a few days. Elena and Bonnie have been coming everyday to my house. We have been talking about boyfriends drama. Elena wants to break up with Matt, she says is because she liked him better as friend. Elena knew there was no future between them, she's afraid that if she breaks up with him their Friendship would be over.

Klaus has not called me or text me in the past few weeks, he's probably busy with something.

God I cant believe I'm starting school tomorrow..sophomore year must be fun. I cant wait till I'm a senior though.

It was 7:42pm I started to feel sleepy..and fell asleep.

I woke up thanks to my alarm clock. I went to the bathroom and had a relaxing shower. I got out of the shower and went to my bedroom still having the towel around my body, I started looking for something to wear for the first day of school.

I heard my phone ringing and checked who it was and answered.

"Hey stranger excited for the first day school?" Elena asked with an exciting tone in her voice.

"Yea, I'm looking for something to wear...I might were this.." 

I responded taking a pair of cream shorts and a white shirt from my closet.

"What are you going to wear?" Elena asked.

"Some cream colored shorts and a white v neck shirt"

I answered while changing into the clothes.

"Sexy" Elena said while I giggled..

"Why are you so happy, sunshine?"  I said while putting the phone in speaker. 

"My aunt Jenna is coming and I cant wait for the Bonfire tonight!" Elena said 

"Caroline hurry up!" My mother said screaming from the hall.

"Give Me A Few More Minutes!" I screamed from my room.

"Elena I have to go I'll see you at school"

"Ok! Talk To You Later."Elena said and hung up

I quickly finished putting my clothes on and then took the straightening iron and rapidly straightened my hair..It took me 20 minutes or so to straightened my hair completely. When I finished with everything I ran down stairs got my book bag and went with my mom.

"Are you ready? Do you have everything you need?"

My mother asked.

"Yea I have everything. Lets go." Saying that we left.

My mother left me at school and went to work.

"Happy First Day." I turned around to reveal..

"Kol" I said.

"Long time no see."

"Sorry I've been busy.." Yea doing nothing...

"So do you have your schedule?" I asked.

"Yeah..here it is"

Kol then handed me his schedule.

"Wow..you have the same classes as me..that's luck" I said knowing that Kol had compelled the secretary to give him the same classes as me.

I then saw Elena, Matt and Bonnie walking towards us.
