They are said to visit houses asking for sweets in exchange for security of your household, however these are the Duwende Puti. The ones we encountered in Duwende... are the Duwende Itim, they are malignant beings that like to mess around with people. If you harm the nest of a Duwende, it will cast a spell on you. The way to avoid this is by saying " Tabi Tabi po".
