Monster Name: Manananggal

Pronounciation: Ma.na.nang.gal

Introduced in: Tik.tik.tik

Description: A monster capable of flight. It can split its body into two pieces. Manananggal are often portrayed as women. They feed on blood and unborn fetuses. They have long tounges that works like a probocis. Manananggal are known for the distinct sound when flying, they tick. When far the ticking is loud and when near the ticking is quiet.

Monster Name: Tiyanak

Pronounciation: Ti.ya.nack

Introduced in: "Who's crying?"

Description: Usually spirits of aborted babies or unborn fetuses. They are usually found in wooded areas. They cry and when travellers stumble upon one and pity it, not knowing the imminent danger. The Tiyanaks have sharp claws and teeth.

Monster Name: Kapre

Pronounciation: Cap.re

Introduced in: Tree Demon

Description: Kapre or nicknamed "Tree Demon" are friendly creatures who resemble ogres. They have glowing red eyes and they smoke cigarettes. When the smoke is inhaled, the person may feel like he/she has been circling their path. To avoid this, one must invert the shirt inside-out.
