There was this pretty girl
I was in love with
I was never told how to deal with it
I tried to make you like me back
I was annoying in the past
How would you have thought of me
As the one you'd truly love?
Then in a blink of an eye,
You were mine
The lovely dandelion of the sky
Every time I'd look at you, I'd be shy
Your hand was in mine
Your heart was satisfied
Your mind was not worrisome
Your days were only in love
Then you turned around
Said goodbye
For the fourth time
Saying it was all fine
You think I'm doing fine
You think I'm happier this time
You think I'd rather be my on my own
You think away from you is my home
Now you're forgetting all about us

I was always only ever a lesson
