A few more hours later Wednesday came walking in. "I thought you were supposed to be at Pilgrim World." Xavier told her as she walked up to the counter. Katherine leaned on the counter and looked at her. "Yes aren't you?"

"I deserted it while my sanity was still intact." She replied with and Katherine sighed and sorted out a costumers order.

"Oh yeah? You want a coffee? It's one of the many perks of this wonderful assignment." Xavier smiled at Wednesday.

"I'm actually here for Tyler." Wednesday replied with and Katherine bit her lip to stop herself from laughing and Xavier sighed.

"I told you he was bad news. Twice."

"But who I speak to is my business." Wednesday looked at him and rang the doorbell.

"You rang?" Tyler asked as he walked up to them and Xavier scoffed and walked away. Katherine looked at Wednesday. "hurt Xavier and I hurt you." Katherine spat before she walked away.

"Okayyy. Want the usual?" She grabbed out a map and put it on the table and Katherine listened into their conversation.

"And some help. You know the original pilgrim meeting house, the one from the 1600s? You know if it's still around?"

"What's left is out in Cobham Woods, but it's pretty much a ruin."

"Show me."

"Uh... There, but, look, it's kind of sketchy. Squatters and meth heads use that place as a crash pad. My dad has it cleared out every couple weeks. What's this about?" Tyler said and Wednesday put the map away once he pointed to where it was.

"Nothing."

"You're becoming obsessed with this monster in the woods thing."

"Would you rather I develop an obsession with horses and boy bands? Thank you for the help." She said then started walking away.

"Hey, listen, the ruins are kind of tricky to find. I could take you this afternoon. My shift ends at 2:00."

"Principal Weems would hang, draw and quarter me if I miss the big statue dedication. And as enticing as that sounds, I'd prefer to keep a low profile. Besides, I know my way around the great outdoors."

"Don't tell me you were a Girl Scout." Tyler said seriously and Katherine snorted and chuckled her a Girl Scout. Pffff.

"I could eat Girl Scouts for breakfast. I have an uncle who went to prison for that." Wednesday said before she walked out.

A few minutes later they changed back into the uniform and went out. It started raining. "Hey Kath. We should probably find Wednesday." He said as he put his umbrella up.

"What is your obsession with that girl. Don't you see she has no feelings for you!" Katherine snapped before she started walking away and Xavier followed.

A familiar black bird came up to them. "What is it chaos?" Katherine asked looking at the bird. "You found Wednesday? Lead the way" the black bird turned into a black dog and they followed him.
