Call?

Jake's POV:

"Come on!! Don't act as if you don't know me Jess. I know it's been a long time since we had our peaceful conversations but that doesn't mean you should shoo me like this!"

Not minding who's on the other side I blabbered all the matters I wanted to share without letting the other one speak.

"So you're gonna remain dum? Speak up Jess!"

All this time I believed it was my long lost friend Jess, being the active one I didn't hear what sounds came from the other side, realising I became quiet to let her speak.

Daisy's Room:

Will he allow me to speak? I just asked a question and he's giving me the answer for hours! She thought as she rubbed her head in annoyance.

"Excuse me! For your information you were the one who kept talking without leaving a second behind! And, who's Jess? I think you got the wrong person. Atleast you could've waited after yelling holaaa!
Now will you hung up?"

She felt dizzy after all her mental thoughts, she spoke whatever came in her mind without getting a grip on what's happening.

"Omg! I think my friend gave some other number by mistake and I'm sorry for not letting you speak!"

"BTW why do I feel like I've heard this voice before?"

Jake said in both apologizing and soothing tone which made Daisy to wait until he completes what he wanna say.

"Now are you tryna flirt with me? I'm really not in the mood to do those shits. Will you leave me alone and do your business?"
She said in a rough manner making him frown.

"Wait a damn minute! I'm not trying to flirt with you or whatever you think! I can remember that I've heard your voice before that's it! Don't flatter yourself."

Now Jake had is smirk on saying what he wanted to say.

"Oh is it? Okay then, will you shut your mouth and let me be in peace?" She said waiting for him to reply back.

"Fine! I didn't mean to waste your precious time! Try to lessen your rudeness girl. This is our first conversation and all you did was showing your attitude!"

He said in a teasing way making her more furious.

"God!! Will you fucking shut uppp! I was about to reach my safe place and atleast try to be happy over there. My fate I had to deal with all annoying creatures. Why can't no one understand me?! Let me be myself what's the matter in it?"

She let out everything as soon as he completed, pushing her in the edge of emotions, not caring about who that stranger was, what's his name, what's his age, anything!

She poured out all her words, let it be harsh or bitter, she threw everything to the boy whom she doesn't even ask the name for.

In the verge of crying her voice trembled, breaking she said, "I'm exhausted, I'm exhausted by trying hard to do everything that I doesn't want to do" a lone tear escaped her orbs which were still shining in the moon light.

Oh! How hard he wanted to embrace the one on the other line! Whoever it may be like how Daisy doesn't know the person, even he doesn't know who's the other one is,

only thing he knew was it's a girl, not her name, not her personality, not her character etc.

But all he wanted to do now is, to hug her tight and say everything will be fine!

Listening to her soft sniffles he let her cry for a minute making the conversation silent.

"I'm sorry" this was the only thing he heard after all weeping.

"I'm sorry for saying all the dumb things I didn't mean to! I know I was harsh and rude. I don't even know you but still I yelled as if you're someone close to me. Sorry for wasting your time and I'm not Jess who you're looking for".

She completed in a low voice waiting to get another lecture from a stranger.

"I'm sorry too" he said making her face confused.

"I shouldn't have said those things without even knowing who you're!" That's my mistake and I guess you're going through a lot. All I want to say is "you'll be fine".

He said all soothing words making her feel both comfortable and pure.

"And yea you're not Jess I can see it, atleast will you tell me your name?"
He asked her quietly.

"I'm Dice!" Not sure to give out the real name she lied giving out the name by which her friend calls her.

"Thank you by the way for your kind words! What's your name?"

"I'm Jay! No mention". Funny how he also doesn't trust any stranger that easily he let out a name little similar to his.

He said ending the conversation and making it kind of uncomfortable by taking a long break silence.

"No mention" I've heard this before. Daisy was in her trance thinking why it sounds similar to that sparkling orb guy!

"Ahem! So I think we are good now! I'm about to ask you something don't get your anger back okay?"
Said Jake making her think what he's up to.

"Yes we are good now! And what is it? I can't help it if it makes me angry." she said giggling a little.

"Why can't we make a CALL?"

He asked in his melodious voice making her even more confused of what he's trying to say.

"What do you mean by make a call Jay?" She asked back quickly wanting to know what he thinks.

"Like can we talk everyday like this?! Let it be like our secret session where we can talk, simply talk that's it. I'm not asking you to meet me, date me, or love me like how some people take advantage."

"That was strange! Asking someone to talk daily without even knowing who they are and what they are" Daisy said making him laugh a little.

"I know right! I don't know why suddenly this thought came up in my mind. Sorry if that made you uncomfortable Dice"

He apologized making her nod.

"That's fine it's not a mistake or something, I'm happy that even after saying all those things you chose to say sorry to me!"
Said Daisy to Jake making him smile again.

"Okay okay we should stop this thank you sorry things we are using it a lot I guess. It's 3am now I think we should sleep right now! It's late. Go to sleep Dice" he said making her realise time ran faster than she thought.

"Oh yes! I totally forgot! It was nice talking to you. Good night Jay".

They hung up going back to their own beds, about the shiny metal?

It fell off her hand long ago, forgetting what she was trying to do she layed in her bed slowly taking up the slumber she lost years ago.

So! They finally had a great conversation with all types of emotions.
Will the path take another way or the call ends here?
