Reo Mikage was a strange guy. First of all he declared you as his training partner after witnessing that goal you had made and secondly he wouldn't stop pestering you to try a 1v1 match with him at least once. You've known this guy for only a few minutes. No one could ever imagine how bad you wanted to go home right now.
At this point, you decided to find your way back to your mother on your own. That damn butler, if only he hadn't left.
Reo was hot on your tail as you tried to navigate your way through the house. As you opened each door a response would follow from him:
"Nope, that's the library"
You tried another door.
"No"And another.
"Wrong way."Another.
"That's the game room"How can he even remember where each room is!? You're done, you've given up entirely, this is too hard. You are now stuck in this house for the rest of your life. You will become one with the furniture here.
"So, thought about playing? You don't have to worry about your dress. I can get a maid to get you a change of sportwear."
"That's the least of my worries." you commented, looking down at the polished floors of the hall. You didn't like eye contact and you were sure that the boy had the most pleading eyes that you couldn't refuse. Wow, how is everything sparkling here, even the floor?
"Please, you're a natural. Say did you play football before?"
"No." you lied. Either way you haven't played in years and still would never continue playing. That move was just something unintentional, yea you didn't intend to strike the ball. You had no other choice, otherwise you would have ended with a ball in the face.
"Then that was trully amazing. Either way you've got potential, *sigh* but I guess I won't force you. My offer still stands though, whenever you want we can play."
"Hm you really like football don't you? I'm Y/n.. by the way, sorry for not introducing myself earlier."
"You are M/n's daughter right? My parents talked about you, we'll go to the same school this year."
"Yea I heard."
"Well that's great! Maybe we'll be in the same class."
"Maybe."

*You were mostly quiet at the dinner table. Your mother was chattering with Mikage's mother and his father was mostly nodding here and there, sometimes imputing his opinion when an interesting subject arose.
But that wasn't exactly on your mind because as everyone was doing whatever at the table, Reo was peeking glances here and now at you. It would be a lie to say that it wasn't obvious, especially since he was seated directly across from you and that made it easier to be prone to his stares.
You would have really accepted his offer at playing football, that would be if it had interested you. He seemed nice, not like you envisioned (and dreaded him to be), you even feel a little bad for assuming the worst but you can't play football anymore, not without him. It wouldn't be the same.

*"We thank you a lot for welcoming us in your home."
"The pleasure was ours. You are a prized employee M/n, we should thank you."
The ride back home was quiet. Mom was in her thoughts, obviously proud of the compliments she just received. If only she knew that I was searching for the same thing as her, I was yearning for her recognition.
Her presence was barely there in my life. I can clearly remember my middle school graduation, it was just a few weeks ago after all. I was the only child without a parent to celebrate with. My mother ended up having something at work that she had to deal with and didn't show up.
I ended up going to a convenience store and celebrate by eating an icecream, waiting on the stairs of the house with my graduation clothes for her to get home. It was truly a sad sight.
Well not that it would matter now. A month will pass immediately along with my mother's presence and I will move at my aunt's place. So here I am now, one month later..
"Welcome home Y/n I hope you'll feel comfortable staying here." my aunt greeted me the moment I stepped through her door.
"Thank you, It's nice to see you again."
"Y/nnnn you're here!" behind my dear aunt, a child no older than ten giggled excitedly at my presence.
"Oh look how much you've grown up. Looks like someone ate her food." I praised Ine my younger cousin.
"Yes I did, even my veggies!"
"Good job"
"Wait a moment here Y/n looks like my other stubborn of a child is still holled up in his room. I can't believe the likes of him, he's in university now and he's gotta study." the voice of my aunt got quieter and quieter as she dissapeared up the staircase mumbling more about my older cousin's bad habit of gaming for long periods of time.
Not long after Anzu's loud voice resonated through the house.
"Ouuuch mom stop it I'm getting up ok just stop pinching my ear ouch ok I got it!"
"Mhm that's what I thought now come greet Y/n"
"Sorry for the wait, now Anzu look who arrived"
"Hi Y/n" he muttered angrily. His hair was disheveled and you could clearly see his ear that auntie dragged him by had gotten a little red.
I couldn't hold it anymore, the laughter just escaped me. "Pffft-" looks like Ine thought the same and her giggles acompanied mine.
"Hey don't make fun of my misery!"
Author's additional time!
Ine's name translates to rice while Anzu's means apricot. I was hungry while I was thinking of what I should name them..
Aside from that the reason for them being put in the story was so that the reader would have someone to comfort them and not feel lonely before their time at blue lock comes. Their part is important in Y/n's character arc and also the reason she is still somewhat sane ig?
