[The scene opens to an empty street on a dark night as a figure approaches the opening of the road. An owl is seen on a street sign stating 'PRIVET DRIVE'
The figure is shown to be Albus Dumbledore. He proceeds to take out a small device from his pocket, flipping open the cap and holding it into the air extracting the light from each of the lamps in the street
He notices a tabby cat sitting next to a wall and releases a breathily laugh with a shake of his head.]
"I should've known you'd be here... Professor McGonagall"
[The cat silently looks at him, and the camera turns towards a wall. The cat's shadow turns into a woman with a tall hat. There are footstep and Minerva McGonagall is revealed.]
McGonagall: Good evening, Professor Dumbledore. Are the rumours true, Albus?
Dumbledore: I'm afraid so, Professor. The good, and the bad
McGonagall: And the girl?
Anthea looks down, Hades pulling her closer to him in an attempt to console his beloved. He presses a kiss to her head as he knows that she remembers the death of her mum and adopted dad, even though she was just over a year.
Dumbledore: Hagrid is bringing her.
McGonagall: Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?
Dumbledore: Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life.
[There is a motor sound and the two professors look up to see a flying motorcycle coming down from the air. It skids on the street and halts. A large man with shoulder length hair and beard named Rubeus Hagrid takes off his goggles.]
Hagrid: Professor Dumbledore, Sir. Professor McGonagall.
Dumbledore: No problems, I trust, Hagrid?
Hagrid: No, sir. Little tyke fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol. Heh. Try not to wake her. There you go.
[Hagrid hands a baby wrapped in a bundle over to Dumbledore.]
"Why on earth did he just fly quite a distance with a baby so young?" Athena questions.
McGonagall: Albus, do you really think it safe, leaving her with these people? I've watched them all day. They're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable. They really are...
Dumbledore: The only family she has.
This earns multiple scoff from Sally Jackson, the demigods and a few of Anthea's friends.
[They stop outside a house which is 4 Privet Drive.]
McGonagall: This girl will be famous. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know her name.
Dumbledore: Exactly. She's better off growing up away from all that. Until she is ready.
"How will she know she's ready if she doesn't know about it?" Percy counters.
[Dumbledore places the baby on the ground slowly. Hagrid sniffles, he is sobbing a little. He clears his throat.]
Dumbledore: There, there, Hagrid. It's not really goodbye, after all.
[Hagrid nods. Dumbledore takes a letter and places it on the baby, who is now at the foot of the door.]
Dumbledore: Good luck... Anthea Potter.
"I'll bloody need it. Well, not that it would've helped the matter but still," Anthea states.
[The baby has a lightning-bolt shaped scar on her forehead.]
"You left a baby on the doorstep of a house, in the middle of the night. She could have gotten hypothermia. She could've died," Sally yells at the professors.
[The camera slowly shifts to the middle of the street, a tall shadow of a man appearing as the lights in the street come back. He makes his way towards the baby, picking her up slowly bringing her into his chest before moving back towards the shadows and disappearing suddenly.]
A small smile tugs at Poseidon's lips, knowing what's about to happen.
[The scene changes suddenly, a bright city now being shown. The words 'Manhattan, New York' in the bottom corner of the screen. The camera zooms into an apartment to see a woman walking around the living room, a baby boy no older than one, in her arms. A younger Sally Jackson is seen with baby Percy Jackson. A sudden knocking at the door interrupts the woman playing with the boy. Her head turns to look at the door in confusion before slowly putting her son down on his playmat.]
Sally: Stay there, Percy. Mummy will be back in a minute.
[Sally get up quickly before making her way to the door, looking through the peep-hold to see no one there. In confusion, she opens the door before leaning out to look up and down the corridor to find no one there. A sudden laugh from below causes her to pause before looking down to find Anthea Potter laying there, two letters with her. One addressed to her and the other blank. Sally picks up the baby wrapped in a bundle and the two letters before bringing both into the apartment and shutting the door. Sally unwraps the baby from the bundle before placing her down next to Percy on the playmat, knowing that she will be safe there before walking over to the sofa and sitting down, opening the first letter.]
VO: Dear Sally, I know it's been a while since I've seen you but please hear me out. The baby that I have left with you is my daughter. I thought she would be better to be left with both you and Percy, since I know that she will be better taken care of with the two of you than with her aunt and uncle in England. Her name is Anthea Jane Potter. She unfortunately lost her mother and adoptive father only last night due to a killing in their home.
You will find that she shares very similar traits with Percy but will also be very different, (that information is enclosed in the other letter) but I know that you will love her the same as you did with I.
Please watch over her and help her through her life.
From
Your love
[Sally looks up from the letter, looking over towards the girl whose now playing with Percy. The camera slowly zooms out to look back over the city. The film's title in metallic gold zooms out around the camera, the background turning the black and lightning flashes to brighten it up. The lightning flashes engulf the screen, transitioning it to years later.]
