More than just enemies (Tory x Sam)

Missing her

Tory was busy. REAL BUSY. Her and Sam have been hanging out all week but, know it's time for Tory to get serious about her job. Tory's mom didn't have much time left and now is time for Tory to put in the extra work to help her mom live as long as possible and to keep her brother happy. Tory had to work 2 jobs just to put food on the table, not to mention all of her jobs pay Jack Shit. Tory will do what ever it takes for her family.

Tory was currently working at a sushi restaurant around reseda. She was a waiter, you would think she would At least get paid $35 an hour. Tory was just about to take off after waiting the last table.
"Hi I'm Tory, what can I get you started with today?" Tory asked politely.
"Yes, I think I'll have 6 dragon rolls with a side of Unagi sauce?" The woman asked.
"Yes and what to drink?" Tory asked.
"A sprite would be nice" the woman requested.
"...alright and would that be all?" Tory asked.
"Yes thank you" the woman said.
"Great! You're order would be out in a few" Tory  said taking off. She made her way to the back of the counter into the kitchen. She took off the sticky note and placed on the wall along with the rest. And then waited by the counter. She was about to go take a bathroom break until she heard her phone buzz in her pocket. She looked around and made her way into the bathroom. It was Sam. She swiped to answer it.
"Hey Princess what's up?" Tory asked her girlfriend.
"Hey babe, I was wondering if you wanted to come over and watch a movie with me and the rest of the Miyagi-fangs? We're watching this movie called 'Final Destination' they said it was supposed to be badass but a little disturbing, anyways want to come?" Sam asked. Tory wanted to, she really did. But she was also really busy.
"Princess I wish I could but I'm working my ass off right now." Tory told her.
"I thought you got off at 6pm?" Sam said.
"Yeah but I needed to work a little extra and When I get off Im gonna be really tired. Im sorry maybe next time?" Tory said. Sam was upset but she understood.
"...ok it's fine. Next time" Sam said with a slight smile.
Tory could tell she was upset, but she really wanted to thrive for her mom and her brother.
"I'm sorry Princess. I'll see you later ok?" Tory said.
"Yeah! See ya" Sam said hanging up.

Sam left her room and down stairs to the Miyagi-fangs. Hawk stood up and walked over to her.
"Tory coming?" Hawk asked. Sam shook her head.
"Oh it's fine we'll do another one of these and she'll come over next time" Hawk assured Sam.
"Yeah. Let's go watch the movie" Sam said walking towards the couch as Hawk followed her.
The movie started but all Sam could think about was Tory sitting right next to her and holding her hand while Sam cuddled up next to her. She got up several times to go 'use the restroom' but really she was texting Tory and stalking her insta. Lately Tory has been working every single day. She didn't want to sound selfish but she really wished Tory would take some time off to hang out with her, even if it's 2 minutes. She knows Tory is working hard for her family. But she misses hanging out with her. Even though they hung out all last week.

Tory just finished putting her brother to sleep after they watched some cartoons together. She missed hanging out and watching cartoons all day with him. But she also missed Sam. She decided to go and skate to Sam's house. It was Robbys old skateboard he left when he went to Mexico with his dad. It was weird to keep something of your ex's but, lt was all she had right now. It was a little uncomfortable skating through the dark neighborhood with nothing but pajama pants and an oversized T-shirt.
When Tory made it to the Larusso Residence she sat her skateboard on the side of the patio. She didn't want to wake up Sam's parents so she climbed to Sam's bedroom window. She knew she was awake because she saw Sam's light was still on. When she finally made it up there she lightly tapped on the glass. Sam quickly turned around, startled. She was surprised when she saw Tory at her bedroom window. But panicked when she realized Tory was on the edge of the roof. She quickly ran over to unlock the window and lift it up so Tory could get inside.Tory crawled in and shut the window behind her. Before she could speak Sam hugged her.
"I missed you" she mumbled in Tory's arms.
"Clearly. I missed you too" Tory said.
"You said you couldn't come" Sam said confused.
"Correction I said I couldn't come for the movie. I didn't say I wouldn't come at all" Tory smiled.
"I'm just glad you're here. But next time please use the front door, you almost gave me a heart attack" Sam said. Tory laughed.
"No promises" Tory joked. Sam laughed and went in for another hug.
"Can you stay?" Sam asked. Tory smiled.
"How long do you want me to stay?" Tory said.
"Forever" Sam requested. Tory chucked a bit.
"Forever is a long time, princess. But I promise." Tory said.
Sam led her to the bed and forced her to lay down and cuddle with her as they watched movies. They eventually fell asleep into each other's arms. And most importantly Tory kept her promise.
