More than just enemies (Tory x Sam)

Sam's P.O.V.
We were in the middle of Miyagifang practice, when the gate slowly opened. "Excuse me? I'm here for Miyagifang training" the girl said. The voice seemed awfully familiar, I turn around to see Tory, my arch nemesis. What is that bitch doing here? I thought to myself. Suddenly her eyes met with mine, I knew she could see the fury in my eyes because she gave me a look of guilt. Me being not too far away from Demetri and Eli I can overhear their conversations.
"What is that psycho doing here?" Demetri says. "Probably trying to get closer to Sam so she can start another fight" Eli says. "Don't worry I'm sure Mr. LaRusso's not gonna let her in that easily" Demetri says. My dad finally speaks up, "Tory? What a surprise". "Yeah Sensei Silver has changed, a-and I just had to get out of there, I-I want to change I really do please just give me a chance" she begged.
My dad looked proud but I didn't believe this psycho one bit, and by the look on the others faces I can tell they didn't either. But soon enough, My mom came out of the house, "Tory! There you are"she ran up to her with a huge smile on her face, "how are you sweetheart?"she asks hugging her tightly. I look behind me and the others looked concerned. "Hi Ms.LaRusso, I'm good" Tory says hugging her back.
"I'm glad that you are ready to get your life back on track, how's your mom?" Amanda asks. "Thank you, my moms doing much better now" Tory says smiling
"Well that's good honey, alright I'm gonna go, have fun" Amanda says walking back into the house. "Thank you!" Tory says." Well Tory welcome to Miyagifang, why don't you stand right over there by Sam" Daniel says.My eyes widened and I shouted "DAD ARE YOU CRAZY,WHAT SHE DIDN'T BEAT ME UP ENOUGH?". "SAM" My dad shouts. He sighs "Tory please excuse her she's still a bit traumatized, but I know you don't want to be a bad person anymore" My Dad says. " It's ok I understand, She has every right to be mad and traumatized from what I did" Tory says. I roll my eyes. I can't believe he's just letting her in AND THEN PUTS HER RIGHT NEXT TO ME.This is so unfair. "Let's continue" my dad says.

After practice I begin to gather my things inside when I start to hear footsteps behind me. I turn around to see Tory, and she had this sort of guilt on her face. "Hey Sam" she speaks up. I look her up and down "What do you want?" I say backing up. " Listen I know your probably still traumatized, but believe me I want to change" she says. I glare at her. "And maybe we don't have to be friends yet but, can we maybe be cool?" She holds out her hand. I glare at her hand, slowly hesitating to shake her hand but then I begin to soften and go for her hand. We shake hands and I give her a smirk. She smiles at me and begins to leave. I watch her as she turns the corner. I don't know if Im just tired but, I think she really wants to change. She had this look on her face that I've never seen before, I can tell... she's not a bad person.
