I have officially survived the first two weeks of college.  Waking up to my buzzing phone had to be one of the best feelings in the world. Not did it only remind me I had another day on this amazing planet but it meant I had another day to improve my life. I rubbed my eyes before getting up and getting my towel. I looked over at the empty bed. This room had been just mine for two weeks. I was very worried maybe the first two nights when she didn't come to sleep here, after that i got use to it. I grab my phone and start playing one of my favorite songs, Not A Bad Thing, by Justin Timberlake. I still remember the day Fer showed me this song, we had enjoyed it so much we made a dance up for it. Oh how I missed Fer. Her and I have been friends since well, ever. Her mother and my dad use to go out when they were in high school, and then my mom joined the picture, Carole and my father stayed friends even though my mother didn't like it. Fer and I in the other hand were friends since the day we were conceived. We have the same birthday, but that's pretty much the only thing we have in common, we're very different. She has beautiful blonde hair that swung back and forth every time she walked, she has these beautiful green eyes that can make anyone tell the truth. She has a bright smile. She could make anyone fall in love with her in a matter of seconds. She loves being the center of attention, always. Some didn't like her for that but I didn't mind, she was my best friend she had stood by my side since day one, even though she got made fun of for it. She left last year because of some trouble she got into with this boy from back home, she didn't say much more then that the last time I spoke to her. That's partially why I moved out here, she had moved here and well I needed her as much as I needed oxygen. I had text her yesterday, she was going to pick me up at 8pm, I checked my watch, I had 12 hours left. I began dressing myself. A oversized white t-shirt, with black pants that were maybe two sizes bigger than me, and to top it all off, my favorite tan cardigan. I made my way to the mirror, brushing my long brown hair I wondered what exactly Fer had planned for us to do tonight, knowing her she'd probably want to do something crazy like go to a party. I put my hair up in a bun and made my way towards the door. Opening the door to a group of girls standing in front of my dorm room. I began playing with my hands and lowered my head before any of them could notice I was looking at them. Right when I was about to start walking my phone began ringing "Pick up pick up its your best friend Ferrr" the ring-tone played over and over again. Fer was only 13 when she recorded that ring-tone. "Hello?" I answered taking a step into my room. "What do you think your doing" she giggled.  I looked around, the girls were still in there world, good. "I'm going to get tea why? I asked "You mean were going to get tea" I looked up at the group of girls and there she was, my best friend. I almost dropped my phone from the excitement, I ran to her and hugged her, tightly. The girls around us began awing, I closed my eyes and inhaled taking it all in at once. Here was the girl I had grew up, the one who stuck by my side when IT happened, here she was hugging me like no one else did gosh I was so lucky. "Lets go Gabs" she began pulling away. I took a deep breathe and moved away. "Lets" gosh I sounded like a loser but she was already use to it.
