Kira hadn't accounted for the fact that her family and the Seaveys always had a ton of fun during the holidays. It was already getting late, but no one showed any sign of calling it a night. Kira had been texting Jack constantly to give him updates and she felt bad to keep pushing it off. She didn't want to keep him up all night. Although he might actually enjoy that.

Both families were playing a few rounds of Christmas charades. The kids had already gone to bed and now it was just the adults. Her dad was currently acting out what she guessed was supposed to be Frosty the Snowman and everyone was laughing loudly. Kira forced a smile, but she wasn't really feeling it. Her knee was bouncing and she kept looking down at her phone.

"What are you so on edge about?" Daniel leaned over to her and he put his hand on her knee to steady her. She turned her phone over in case Jack texted her. "You look like you want this to be over as soon as possible."

Kira glanced at him. He was smiling and having a good time like everyone else. She debated being honest with him. Again, she thought about how things would be better if she stopped keeping so many secrets.

"Remember how you didn't want to know who else I'm sleeping with?" she asked. Daniel's smile faltered a little.

"Still don't but yeah."

"Well, one of them misses me," Kira said with a smirk on her face. "And I promised him we could do stuff over Facetime once everyone went to bed."

"Oh." Daniel nodded a few times as he processed that. "Is it...Is it one of the guys? Like one of our guys?"

"Okay, first of all, don't ever say that again, but yes," Kira said with a smile and Daniel chuckled. "I feel bad making him wait. I mean, I know he definitely will but I still feel bad."

"Then why don't you just go?" Daniel suggested. Kira looked at him confused. "No one's gonna bother you. Everyone is still down here playing games and they probably will be for a while. Just say you're going to bed. And keep the noises down."

Daniel winked at her and she laughed.

"I don't know. I'd be too anxious that someone would come in."

"That's why you lock the door, Kira." Daniel was leaning over to her and whispering in her ear. It made her shiver and she felt more turned on than she'd already been. She'd been imagining sex with Jack ever since her call with him and she was so eager for it. Having Daniel close to her and whispering to her like that only made it worse.

Then she saw the way he was smirking and she narrowed her eyes at him. Daniel's hand was still on her leg and at some point, he had moved it up higher. Suddenly her mind flashed with the memories of last night.

"Are you doing this on purpose?" she whispered and his smirk only seemed to grow.

"Doing what?" he asked as he moved his hand higher up her thigh. He squeezed it a little and Kira had to fight back a gasp. She raised an eyebrow at him.

"Are you jealous, Dani?" she asked and she smirked too. "Are you trying to get me back into your bed instead?"

"Wouldn't that be more fun than doing it over Facetime?" Daniel asked and he finally smiled. "I mean, my house is completely empty again. You could come over to my place, do it in person, and be as loud as you want. Or you could hurry up to your room, touch yourself for some guy who's not even there, and worry about being quiet so your family doesn't overhear."

Kira smiled to herself and shook her head. She delicately pulled Daniel's hand off her thigh and she moved it back to his lap.

"Trust me, if you knew who it was you'd understand. So, I think I'll be heading upstairs." She stood up, but then she looked down at Daniel's concentrated expression and laughed. "Are you seriously trying to figure out who it is?"
