Aika's POV
"I warned you Ate! I fucking warned you na masasaktan mo si Adair kapag pinagpatuloy mo kung anong meron kayo. Now look, tama ako!"
Tricia scolds as she paces back and forth in front of me.
When I told her and Jillian about Adair, she's the one who's averse of me being involved with someone.
Because I'm married.
Kahit saang banda tignan, kahit sabihin ko pa na pinaprocess na 'yung divorce namin mali pa rin ako.
Ako naman 'yung nanggulo sa nananahinik na buhay ni Adair. That if I only listen to Tricia probably hindi siya nasasaktan ngayon.
Hindi sa'kin nagagalit si Tricia.
Hindi sa'kin nadi-disappoint si Jillian.
At hindi rin ako nasasaktan ngayon.
All because I'm married.
"I know and I was wrong, Patty. I'm sorry." my voice break as another new waves of tears flows.
"Kaibigan ko rin si Adair, Ate. He's too good for you to break his heart. Kung nakita mo lang how miserable he was nung nalaman niya 'yung totoo, magagalit ka sa sarili mo."
Tricia said, gritted teeth. That's how fuming she is.
"Kaya nga nagmamakaawa ako sa'yo ngayon, Patty. Tell me kung nasaan siya kailangan kong ayusin lahat ng 'to." I was about to reach for her hand but she stepped back.
She snickered. "Kahit pa ayusin mo 'yan that doesn't still change the fact that you're married."
Tama siya pero ayaw tanggapin ng isip ko.
"Patty, pleas-"
"Sasaktan mo lang siya lalo, Ate." that silenced me. "Kung may natitira ka pang respeto sa kanya, let Adair be."
"Let him be? Tricia para mo na rin akong pinatay nun."
"Your life doesn't revolve around him, Ate. Hindi ka ganyang tao, hindi ka dumedepende sa iba."
"Wala kang alam."
"Oh, come on, don't tell me you're madly in love with him. Because there's you and Elias. You can't love him and Adair at the same time. Stop that illusions of yours!"
"You don't understand-"
"Then make me understand!"
There I snapped.
"Do you think it's easy for me to let go the only person who saved me from my miserable life? Hindi, at hinding-hindi mo 'yun maiintindihan because you were never in my shoes."
This time, it's Tricia who fell silence. "W-what are you talking about?"
Napayuko na lang ako as the tears didn't stop from rushing down my cheeks.
"He came first before Elias did." I trailed off.

"Alam mo if you're going to jump, then jump." biglang humigpit 'yung kapit ko sa railings ng bridge to hold myself still.
I took a glimpse of the guy and I saw him peaking underneath, with spoon placed in between his lips. Maybe he's checking if matutulyuan ba talaga ako or--
"The water's quite aggressive today, you'll die nga dyan."
Tama nga ako.
He made contact with me, and his eyes are really telling me that I should continue what I was about to do.
