Our first match is against Dulwich College, which is my ex-boyfriend school team, Kim Sunoo.
Luckily, I didn't see him today. I guess he quit the handball team.
I really like him, once upon a time ago. But there's some misunderstanding that make me really hate him until now.
He is so cute, and clingy to me, until that one point.
"Ryeongi?" As soon as I heard that voice, I turned to my back.
Kim Sunoo?
So he didn't quit the handball team yet. Or he couldn't leave it because it was his passion?
"Sunoo-ssi." We had an eye contact for almost five minute.
"It's been a while, Sunoo-ya." Once I open my mouth, he walk toward me. Hugging me.
"Ryeongi, I really miss you." I couldn't even say anything after that.
I miss you too, Sunoo-ya. But I can't be with you anymore. You know how hard for me to get over you, and how hard for me to forgive you.
I still resent you so much until this day.
"Sorry Ryeong-ah. It's all my fault. How can I redeem back my mistake to you." He cried so loud that everyone in the court watching us.
"SNU and Dulwich handball players please be ready. Your match will start soon."
After announcement that we are going to play, I push him aside so that I can prepare for the match.
I felt sorry, but I am not sorry.
"Noona, that boy is your ex?" Shit, here come again this loser.
Why he always being nosy about my business. Who do you think you are Jungwon?
I just ignore him, because I don't feel like replying to him.
Playing the pivot position, and the enemy team's pivot is Seo Minju. Minju is the best Dulwich's handball player. She got the name 'Ace' during her first year playing handball.
But, to compare with their team, our team is much more balance. We got the pro goalkeeper, and also some sly attacker. So, we are a bit confident this time.
The high pitch with airy sound of the whistle means that the match had started. I played my best during the game.
But, the enemy team is playing rough. They push our team member until they fall down.
7:2
That was the result of the first-half. I was devastated. I feel like loosing.
"Miryeong, someone called you." Minji said.
I was very confused but, I still follow Minji from her back.
It was Riki.
As soon as our eye met, he rush to me.
"I'll play." he said.
He's making me even more confused right now.
"I'll play the pivot position. You'll play as my wing." now, he's explaining what he said just now.
I understand. But, why do I feel like there's butterfly in my stomach?
The rest time had finish. Our team play as what Riki suggest. He's playing the pivot, and I play as his right wing.
I am so amazed that he actually know how to play handball. There's so much that I don't know about him.
The final score did excited me. Our team is winning. It's all because of his help.
All people praise him, but I don't. I just don't want to talk to him, because I am so embarrased.
He act like nothing happened, that kinda dissappointing.
"Good game, Miryeong-ssi." I just look at him, and go away from there.
