"So it's you? The famous Peter who runs this place?" the overweight little man without one leg asked me. "Well, when are you? I don't think I'd invite you to my island" I replied in a threatening voice.
Damn Wendy! She distracted me so much, I wasn't paying attention at all! I can't let that happen anymore. At least she's safe now. "I'm some Zllen to be you, so I'll step your cheeky tone schmuck. I mean, at least if you like the girl who was here with you," Zllen laughed.
W-what? Wendy's safe, after all! "I don't know what kind of crap you're saying!" I retorted. Does he think he could get to her through me? In your dreams! "And are you really sure about this, kid?" he said, laughing caustically.
That's when the fear hit me. In my mind, I saw this girl who had messed up and messed up my whole life as soon as I saw her. I thought of her nightmare, and her very unprofessional attempts to escape.
And last but not least, I saw her when I almost kissed her. That's what I wanted at the time, but I know I'm not allowed to love anyone. I know it's forbidden, but at that-at that point, I don't know! I couldn't keep my eyes off her lips.
They kind of bewitched me, and then I almost couldn't hold on. I finally felt for a moment that there was finally a man I wanted to give a deep insight into my heart, to show him my first feelings.
Right now it's dawned on me! damn ! Damn Wendy Darling! I-I guess I fell in love with her. I've got to forget about that! I'm not allowed to love! I shook my head, glancing slightly behind me. Holy shit! Wendy really wasn't there....
