ALICIA, Jace, Olivia, and Tee stumbled into the house at around two in the morning.
"It's so quiet." Jace whispered, drunkenly.
"Yeah, of course it's quiet. It's two in the morning. They're all sleeping." Alicia whispered back and rolled her eyes.
"Facts." Tee nodded.
"You have wine?" Olivia spoke up.
"On the shelf in the dining room." Alicia answered. "And beer's in the fridge. Y'all have fun, I'm going to bed."
Tee and Olivia headed out of the living room and to the dining room and kitchen.
"Aw, why?" Jace frowned.
"Because. Isn't that what we say in Jace's world?" Alicia raised her eyebrows.
"Yeah. Well, goodnight, I guess."
"Night."
Alicia stumbled her way upstairs. When she was halfway up, she got the urge to throw up, so she quickly went the rest of the way up and hobbled to the bathroom.
She put the toilet seat up and started throwing up.
Meanwhile, Joe was lying in his bed, staring up at the ceiling. He had been lying in bed, tossing and turning and staring at the wall, ceiling, the other side of the bed since he got home.
He sighed to himself and turned onto his side.
Then, he heard someone stumble upstairs and stumble into the bathroom. He furrowed his eyebrows and got up from the bed and went to the bathroom.
The door was left ajar and he poked his head inside to see Alicia sitting by the toilet.
"Alicia? Are you alright?" He asked.
"Oh, hey Joseph. Ye—."
She then threw up again.
He entered the bathroom and held her hair back as she threw up.
He saw an elastic on her arm and slipped it off to tie her hair back.
She exhaled and sat back.
"Thank you."
"No problem."
"I think I drank too—."
She then threw up again and he rubbed her back.
Alicia was completely finished emptying the contents of her stomach about fifteen minutes later.
She fell back and Joe caught her.
"Whoa." She said and giggled.
Joe half-smiled.
"Why'd you leave the club?" Alicia asked.
"I don't know, I was getting tired, so I felt like I had to come home." He lied.
"Oh."
He nodded.
"You're so comfortable." Alicia smiled and put her face on his leg.
Joe chuckled. "Thanks. Um...I think we should get you to bed."
"I like that idea." Alicia replied and sat up. "Oh, but I have to brush my teeth first! I have throw up breath!"
"I don't think that's really a big deal right now." Joe responded.
"Yes it is, I'm brushing my teeth." She stated.
Joe sighed. "Okay. Let me help you up."
"K."
Joe helped her up and walked her over to the sink. She brushed her teeth slowly and was trying not to laugh as she was doing it.
"It tickles." She slurred.
Joe pursed his lips, also trying not to laugh.
"Alright, you done?" He asked.
"Mhm."
She rinsed her mouth then washed her toothbrush off and put it back in the holder.
"Come on, let's go get you changed and in bed." Joe said.
He draped her arm around his shoulders and walked her to her room.
When he got there, he searched for some pajamas.
He grabbed a pair of shorts and a white t-shirt and when he turned around, Alicia had taken her dress off leaving her only in her bra and panties.
"Oh. Um...Lici..." He trailed off.
She ignored him and stripped down until she was naked.
All Joe could do was stare at her body. God, it was so beautiful.
"PJ's please."
"Yeah. Sure."
He put his arm out and continued staring at her.
Get your head out of the gutter, Joe. He thought to himself.
She put the pajamas on and Joe shook his head.
"All done." She smiled.
"Okay, let's get you to bed."
He put her on the bed and tucked her in.
"Goodnight, Lici." He whispered and turned around to leave.
"Joe, wait." She called in a whisper.
He paused and turned back around.
"Stay."
He stared at her blankly.
"Please."
He nodded. "Okay. Alright. I'll stay."
He walked back over to the bed and lied next to her.
She moved over and buried her head into his chest.
Joe wrapped his arms around the girl and pulled her close and then, they fell asleep.
