NINE

JACE woke up the next morning with a pounding headache.

He looked around and saw Tee passed out in the recliner and Olivia curled up on the other couch.

He turned to the TV and saw that YouTube was paused. It was a video of the Sturniolo triplets. He then remembered that Olivia was trying to get him and Tee to watch them. She told them she only watches them for Nick and because they're funny, but she wasn't one of those obsessive girls who thought they were hot. She was too old for them anyway.

Groaning, he sat up and stretched, then rubbed his stomach.

"Tee." He whispered.

Tee didn't reply.

"Tee!"

"Mm." Tee groaned.

"Do you know where Alicia went, bro?" Jace asked.

Tee just grunted and buried his face in the pillow.

Jace huffed and got up. He looked to the stairs and remembered Alicia saying she was going upstairs to go to bed, so he slowly made his way upstairs.

He walked down the hall to her room and knocked.

"Alicia."

There was no reply.

"Lici, can I come in?" He whispered.

There was no answer again, so he slowly opened the door.

When he opened it, he saw that her bed was made and furrowed his eyebrows.

She couldn't have waken up already, could she? She was the worst when she was hungover. She slept until twelve PM sometimes later when she was hungover, so she couldn't possibly be awake.

Sighing, he went to Lily Rose's room and opened the door.

She was lying on her side that was facing the door and was scrolling through her phone.

"Hey, Lils."

The blonde girl looked up at him.

"Hi, Jace." She muttered, her voice shaky.

"I just checked and Alicia isn't in her room Do you know where she went?" He asked.

"Mm mm. Sorry." She answered.

"Oh. Okay. Thanks."

"Yeah."

"You okay?"

"Not really, but I don't wanna talk about it." She replied.

"Alright, well I'm here if you need me." Jace reminded.

Lily Rose half smiled. "Thank you."

"Of course. See you."

"Bye, Jay."

Jace closed the door then walked across the hall to Skyler's room and knocked on the door.

"Housekeeping!" He said in a high pitched voice.

That was him and Skyler's inside joke. One time at a hotel in Baltimore, they were all having a prank war and Jace dressed up as a maid and pretended he was room service and pranked Sky.

"Fuck off, Jace." She called from the other side of the door.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"Just leave me alone, please." She replied.

"Damn, okay. I just wanted to know where Alicia is." Jace said.

"Don't know, don't care. Now go away." She responded.

"Skyler—."

"I said go the fuck away, Jace!" Sky yelled.

Jace sighed and and walked away from the door.

The only room he had left to visit was Joe's. That made him nervous for some reason. What if Alicia was with Joe?

He slowly walked back down the hall and knocked on Joe's door.

"Yo, Joey boy!"

There was no reply.

"Shiesty, you in there?" Jace asked.

There was yet again, no reply.

Jace grabbed the door knob.

"Here goes nothing..."

He opened the door and his heart sunk.

Alicia was in bed with Joe.

He shook his head.

No. This couldn't be real.

He slammed the door shut and stormed back downstairs.

"'Sup, Jay—Whoa, what's wrong?" Tee asked when he saw how angry Jace was.

"Tell your boy I know what he did." Jace whispered, angrily. "And he can go fuck himself."

"What boy?" Tee furrowed his eyebrows.

"He knows who he is and I think you do too." Jace spat.

He then left the house and slammed the door behind him.
